Would you like a Game chat only playlist?

I was just wondering because i don’t know that many people who play halo anymore and i know that there are other people like me, so if game chat playlists were introduced it would mean that people like me could meet new people to play halo with, i know that some people may just be annoying on a playlist like this but they can just be muted.

What are your thoughts?

Meet people? game chat is all trash talk anyways, partying is the only way to go

Fair enough i know that most people trash talk but i did meet people to play with through game chat on halo 3 before the party system was introduced, and the trash talkers could be muted anyway

it’s not just meeting people, hearing trash talk frOm little kids and “noob” sets a fun happy mood to the game. Seeing as many people want a custom games playlist this would be a good game chat only playlist

it’s not always the kids, it’s also the egoistic trash talkers who think just because they’re better than you, they can harrass you. i mean sure you can mute them but i’d rather not know i’m playing with them, besides i prefer it silent because then you don’t get the idiots who don’t know what they’re doing calling out plus you can concentrate more on the game. also party chat is far more reliable.

Sometimes I like to go to game chat to hear my teammates complain all day about people modding and how that person shouldn’t of been able to kill them and**…**

It depends on my mood. On Monday hell no do I wanna play with trash talkers, Friday night custom games is a different story

That’s an interesting idea.

Forcing my out of Party Chat was one of the reasons I turned away from COD.

Not a huge fan to be honest.

Game chat usually involves screaming American 12 year old kids. I would rather go in party chat.

not for me cause I’m old and can’t stand annoying kids (or worse annoying adults), but 2 each his own …

…that’s why I have my chat set to ‘friends only’

Party chat also masks proximity voice, which some people with high end headphones do not take kindly to.

No, i’d rather not be forced to talk to some beligerent person ranting in gamechat or have people with out mics and sit in there with my hand in my pants thank you very much.

Only if you want it to be. Game chat would be great, no one uses their mics anymore, except in party chat. It would promote teamwork, and maybe people would get better at Halo, rather than -Yoinking!- all the time.

Same.

The halo community and the CoD community act relatively the same. In terms of a mix of trash talkers, little punks, morons, that one guy who plays music over his mic, racsists, and sexcists. The only difference is that halo has a mute all button and i just make a party in cod. But like you stated, it sucks because parties are limited in CoD.

People say that it promotes teamwork. The reality is that it doesnt, not fully atleast. Some people just are too socially shy, or just not in the mood to deal with -yoinks-.

We shouldnt be forced to choose.

No actually it won’t. I played MW2 quite a bit and in the gamechat lobbies and met nothing but 12yr olds and silence. I dont need team work to do good maybe you should get better or play with friends and not force people to put up with idiots.

Someone’s mad. It’s an optional thing. It’s not like MW where the one specific gametype forces you out. You can either get into a gamechat slayer playlist, or a normal slayer playlist. If you don’t want it, don’t do it.

honestly, not a playlist but maybe a search filter option.
