Would You Honestly Care If They Removed AA's?

??

I happen to like armor abilities. I would be sad to see them go.

AAs in Social
No AAs in Competitive/Ranked

Problem Solved.

BTW i love them.

Yes. I would be over-joyed. We would have some actual, less random, competitive Halo again. Thats based on skill, not a magic trick.

That said, I do love me some thruster pack. lol

i wouldnt care if they were taken out of the multiplayer, but it would be nice if it was kept in forge for custom games

AAs in starting loadouts is what I think you mean. Yes they should remove them, They are the boring and pointless.

You sir are a flippin genius.

Remove the AAs and bring back power-ups.

Well lets put it this way, i wouldnt be playing halo3 anymore

As long as they have static spawn locations and times, yes.

Maybe make the OS worthwhile again!

I wouldn’t care as I no longer play Halo because of Halo 4 and 343i

Nope

Here is my solution.

A) Treat armor abilities as things you earn rather than things you can just have. To do this I would set it up like the Specialist Scorestreaks from MW3 (OMG U CANT COPY COD THIS R HALOZ, Halo 4 is already copying COD, why not do it right?) after a certain amount of kills you are sent an ordnance drop of an AA that would help you on that map. For example, you’re playing on a largely vertical map and you get 5 kills, you can then elect to use your ordnance drop and get a Jetpack from it to use, upon death it resets and you have to earn it again. If you’re playing a small map maybe you get Regen field or Thrust, or in the case of Halo 5 if there are to be new AA’s some new AA that is actually useful in cqc.

B) For future Halo maps, design the maps so that one map is tailor made for jetpacks and on that map you have the option of preset loadouts all containing the jetpack AA. In other words, make it so that on certain maps you can only use a certain AA. I think a map where you HAD to use the jetpack to get around could be fun.

c)Make them spawn on map so that you have to fight for them as you would a power weapon. Again, it would have to be an AA suited to the map and would reset upon death. That way we could truly get back to Halo’s roots and keep AA’s at the same time. This is my most ideal solution and I don’t see a downside to this, other than people who have grown to attached or dependent on AA’s, but they’re the same people who keep saying “Just adapt” so I guess it’s their turn to adapt now.

As far as Halo 4 goes, I wouldn’t mind seeing a playlist or two without AA’s.

I would be so happy! But there’s more things like loadouts and specialisations that need taking out.

No and yes. It would be sad to see the holo-hump go, but AAs were never pulled of well.

a thousand times yes. They make the game way too fun for me. I had a blast with halo 3 but i could not stick around playing a halo 3 esque for very long. It would feel boring and slow to me.

NO.

Get out of Halo. Just… Leave. Halo is on its deathbed as is, implenting even one of those ideas even halfway would kill it off completely.

Halo used to be unique. What other game was even similar to h3?

What comparisons could be made between it and CoD?

NONE. To both.

Now, its just a mess of poorly implemented ideas from other games, trying to draw in the money the casual infection carries with it.

I really wouldn’t care too much but I would kind of miss my auto sentry!

That AA is useless. Just… So you know. It always shows on radar, and 2-3 shots will put it down. I just don’t see the point. lol
