Lots of complaints about post-launch material, things getting the axe, and so on. Would you have been willing to wait longer for Halo 4 to come out with more things in it or do you just want it as soon as possible?
Sure. The only reason I got Halo 4 before launch was because of a discount on Newegg. Otherwise, I’d have waited until a GoD Halo 4 came out as I am not exactly upper class…
On the other hand, this is the Xbox 360 console we’re talking about. It was destined to come out this day. If Halo 4 came out later, it wouldn’t have made much of a difference.
Yes, I’d have much preferred Halo 4 get pushed back a year. Maybe then they could have given us a decent sized campaign and a good amount of maps. Then there’s things like the custom games options, the game types on disc (or rather not on disc). Don’t get me wrong, I think H4 looks great, but it’s got a ton of things that make me :(, and an extra year could have made this game perfect.
I’m all for devs taking their time to make the game they want. However publishers like Microsoft/SONY/EA do NOT share that view.
