Would you have liked to see forge in the campaign?

I don’t know about you guys but I would of liked to see forges reaction to atriox and the banished. His pod opening was a nice reference and having him in mp is great but I having him in campaign reacting with cutter Jerome ECT would have been so cool. Hopefully he may return in the future who knows maybe in HW3? #PlzCA/343

He’s dead, simple as that. Making him magically come back would destroy the impact of his decision to stay behind in HW1. I wish there were more references to him throughout the campaign, but he should not come back as a character.

He already gave his opinions on the Banished:

Forge is dead and although I too adore him as a Character… It wouldn’t make any sense adding him to the current timeline.

That said… An alternate campaign mission set WOULD be cool, get an insight into his history that would flow alongside his Bio, find out how he ended up on the Spirit of Fire in the first place (For those that didn’t read the wikia… I ain’t going to spoil it) but yea. No reason why not. Forza Horizon did the same with the Fast&Furious add on and that was a secondary download launcher.

I wouldn’t have liked it for one single reason:

Stakes.

When you kill characters and revive them just like that it takes away the tension of future stories. Take for example Dragon Ball Z, you already know they’re going to revive whoever dies with the dragon balls, so you stop caring about the characters. Or take Marvel movies for example, you know they will never kill any of the heroes, no stakes, no tension, no investment.

Now take GoT for example, you know no one’s safe (well maybe Danny and Jon Snow) but you see where I’m going?

So dead characters should stay dead.

He is gone for a reason,bringing him back makes his sacrifice less meaningful.Same thing as noble 6
