I know I know, Blood Gulch is overrated or whatever, but seriously think about it. Would Blood Gulch/ Coagulation/ Hemorrhage/ Whatever the other remakes name is fit well into Halo 5?
Personally I feel it would fill a gap a lot of fans have had for a long time. And of course there are countless Forge remakes but non of them really give the feeling the map gives off.
I mean we have so many Classic maps already, why not?
One argument against this is gameplay, Halo 5’s gameplay is so much different than the other games that it wouldn’t play well. Which may be the case but we’d never know for sure until we have multiple games on the map its self.
And what iteration of the map should it be? I believe it should be Halo Reach’s Hemorrhage, it blends the best aspects of both the CE and Halo 2 version of the map IMO.

I would love a Waterworks remake much more personally. One that will take advantage of all the new movement mechanics of Halo 5 while still having the dark feel of Waterworks. I’m thinking secret ledges to circle the map along the walls, destructible environments, trick jumps, etc.
If a Blood Gulch map were to be implemented, precision weapons need to be significantly toned down to avoid frustrating deaths upon spawning and cross-mapping, especially the handcannon that is the CE Magnum.

Well I can understand of why you would not like the map to be back but what if it played very differently then the original maps?

Thats what I think why the Halo CE version of Blood Gulch the best though since it was a projectile system instead of Hitscan. If it was just Halo 5 with the CE Magnum and weapons we have now it woukd be terrible. One of the things that made the CE Magnum balanced and not too op in CE.

I would much rather see a waterworks remake as well. Blood gulch remake was done in MCC.

That would arguably be worse because then I would have to deal with “they didn’t make my blood Gulch correct” complaints on Waypoint for a month.
Besides, why not just make a new map if their goal is a map that plays different from BG?

Only if it was pistol starts. With how open the map is, it would be terrible with how the sandbox is currently. They would have to modify it heavily to adjust for that similarly to what they did with Viking.

Waterworks is a Halo 2 map. It is underground with a huge mechanical structure in the middle and it is in the dark(because it’s underground). Wraith, Banshee, warthogs, Sniper, Rockets. It was a fun map that would make for an amazing re-imagined remake for Halo 5.
I wouldn’t mind the H2A version wit the EMP towers on each base.

Yes, I would. Actually, I’d like larger, wider BTB maps. Most of the ones we have now just feel TINY.
Take Eagle Square for example, where you can literally be at the enemy base within 10 seconds of sprinting. Or Fracture, which has the same issue. Or Recurve…actually, only the remakes of previous Halo maps dont have that issue.
Or or or I have an idea!
We actually get an original, well designed BTB map…

I loved it back in the day, don’t get me wrong. I just feel that it’s time to move on from this one. I would play it, don’t get me wrong, but overall, no thanks.
Ducain23 remade forge world in its entirety along with a snow remake of coagulation back some time ago. Not sure if you can use custom browser to find it by gamertag but it’s out there

EXACTLY! I remember there being a poll on which map should be remade for a next update in Halo 5 and everyone picked blood gultch. I’ve played way too much of the map. I love it, but 343 and the community drag it on forever. Just like Valhalla, remade in Halo 4. You would think that’s enough but no 343 puts it back in the map rotation for Halo 5. Except they didn’t care about the actual gameplay as it was remade in forge from the community.
As much as I love Valhalla, Blood Gultch, Sancuary, Ivory Tower, they’ve been dragged on for too long and I think it’s time for new maps.
Of course, blood gultch outpost created big team, and started the a war between two colors
I’d love to see it on BTB. I think it would be great on that. Just if we have a sniper we need vehicles that can out power the weapons that are super strong. So like if we have a CE Magnum we need tanks so the player with the magnum has to be careful and can’t outgun everything.
