Strictly multiplayer, no campaign, no ops, no firefight. Just multiplayer based on 2/3 gameplay and forge. 20 classic maps to start (I won’t debate what they would be) with 3 map packs that would include say one more classic map and two new ones or vice versa. Would you buy this game at $59.99?
Yes I would. Multiplayer on those games were amazing.
we just need 343 Halo 2 Anniversary lol
people will buy it cuz Halo 2 is epic.
but yeah i think Halo need maybe a only multiplayer game to have all type of games modes and details
Gameplay itself is important but not the sole factor to my decisions.
>Is the game expensive?
>Is it populated?
>Is it a well refined community?*
>Is it fresh or just a rehash of old games?
*What ruins halo 4 is how no one ever plays the objective or even tries. They just run around shooting things mindlessly. It’s like, why the -Yoink- would you join a CTF match if you didn’t feel like playing CTF? Play the -Yoinking!- objective or choose a different playlist, not hard.
Based off of 2/3, meh. Halo 2 and Halo 3 weren’t perfect games, Halo Reach and Halo 4 did some things better and some things worse.
Halo CE’s killtimes and speed.
Halo 2’s dual wielding.
Halo 3’s equipment, shield recharge, maps.
Halo Reach’s Custom Games, Forge and Armor.
Halo 3’s and Halo Reach’s sandbox combined.
Now that is a game I would play.

But if they do a H2A we’ll only get a few maps and it will be in H4 MM. I don’t want that. I want a multiplayer remake.
Halo 2 Anniversary Campaign and Halo 2 style multiplayer. Thrown in Halo 3 Custom Options and a Forge area like Foundry and Sandbox and I will pay full-price for it and never touch Halo 4 again except maybe for its campaign… maybe.

well yeah thats the point, a remake of everything, if they make the campaing with better graphics but MM like H4 is not going to be the same lol.

> No, what ruins halo 4 is the random crap (ordnance, weapon map drops) and new ‘tweaks’ to the game 343 put in that ruins the game. Players you describe encourage the use of mics to turn their heads around which makes the game in the end fun (at least when I do it lol)
Of course I would buy it. Heck I bought ODST back in the day just for the H3 complete multiplayer disk and didn’t even touch ODST.

Yes yes this!
I would buy it.
I would still play the other halos’, but i would buy and play it. And isn’t Destiny partly what that would be?

- No more than any other game
- Well if I had to guess it would be more populated than this one is currently.
- It used to be, would like to get them back.*
- No it would pretty much be a remake of 2/3 but it would start with 20 maps rather than 9-10.
*I agree to a point. I think H4 is ruined by being casual yet over complicated at the same time, if that makes sense to you. People also ran around mindlessly or camped in 2/3. It’s just the way it is.

Gametype variety matching Halo 3 and Reach? Maybe not $60, but if firefight was included then probably, yes. Theater too, right? Also a well managed matchmaking would be important. I don’t currently trust 343 in that department.
Nope for what your offering it better be free to play or 20 bucks max.

I like those options. I wasn’t specific enough the first time. Customs, Reaches forge, 3/Reach sandbox, and armor are all good mentions.

No firefight, but it’s twenty maps on disk to start. Yes to theater. Well MM is… yeah, I don’t trust them either. But I’d give it a shot, oh and ranked/social gametypes with visible ranks, I did say based on H2/3.
Would it be an extension of the current matchmaking hopper, like anniversary, or a completely seperate game?
A Halo game without campaign? I’d probably buy it, being an avid Halo fan, but I wouldn’t really be happy with it, especially at 60$. The main attraction to Halo for me is without a doubt the story. No story = not a true Halo game.
if it only had forge and mulitplayer? yeah
> Would it be an extension of the current matchmaking hopper, like anniversary, or a completely seperate game?
Completely seperate, with dedicated servers. Now I am dreaming.
