Would you buy a vehicle expansion pack?

Hey guys,
Had a thread earlier, loads of great ideas coming. Basically, the vehicles in halo 4 are a bit few in number, and it would be superb to see some new ones. There is a quick 1 minute survey you can take ( http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/85L9Q3M ) that will help decide what vehicles we put forward to 343i. But basically, if there was a ‘Vehicular Combat Pack’ or something released for 800 - 1200ms points, containing fan favourite vehicles and maybe some new ones to be implemented in the multiplayer, Would you purchase it? It would likely feature such classics as:
Hornet - A variant with a machine gun on front and room for 2 passengers.
Troop Transport Warthog - The familiar variant of the warthog able to carry 5 or so rear passengars, somehow evading the multiplayer of halo yet again.
Spectre - The clasic ‘Covenant Warthog’ from Halo 2.
Chopper - Everyones favourite splatterfest spinning deathmobile.
Locust - The covenant walker, first seen in Halo Wars and commonly known as a ‘Building Killer’.
Hawk - Anders (The forgettable one noone likes from halo wars) unique hovery fighter thing.

Keep the suggestions coming people - let 343i hear us!

That would really mess up the gameplay because some people can’t buy DLC

I’m not giving them any more money until they fix the specialization code email issues, and I might not even then depending upon how they handle it and how long they take to fix it. Additionally, at this point, I have little faith in them, and if I were going to play a vehicle-centric multiplayer, I’d go ahead and put Battlefield 3 in the disc tray.

Provided all the codes -Yoink- was sorted out, this is just a way to liven up gametypes and forge. The vehicles we have now are just so…bland.

Bring the Chopper back and I’m good to go. But they’re going to have to resolve these issues first, and I still don’t have much confidence in them. But I do miss the chopper.

This would never happen. If they add a vehicle it wouldn’t be DLC. Anyways to answer your question… No way!

This is not Battlefield.

i don’t think they would do it just because that they would have to make a whole playlist for that and tbh i’d rather have snipers back

I would not buy it.

I would love to but no, that wouldn’t work since not everyone would have them.

That is unless they did a mandatory update for everyone and then made it so non DLC buyers couldn’t pilot the new vehicles…

Should be free DLC or an update or something. The Falcon needs to make a return. I feel like Halo 4 removed more than they added, if they added anything at all.

But the way 343i’s been handling playlists and maps like Halo: Reach and Halo 4… I dunno about DLC anymore…

I wouldnt spend any msp on anything that should be a free dlc

this would never work because people who don’t buy the DLC wouldn’t be able to see/drive/use/anything with a new vehicle… i don’t even know how they’d do it… non-buyers would see a spartan floating in mid air mowing people down?

Its called releasing a paid DLC, along with a compatability DLC.

LOL. Hell no.

And reported for spam.

> And reported for spam.

Wait, why? Are you that much of a blockhead that your own opinion decides what is spam on this forum and what is not?

I would pay 1200 for the following:

Maps:

Sandtrap
Forgeworld

Vehicles:

Hornet
Reverent
Falcon

Custom game option:
Everything we had in H3 and Reach…

Just made Halo 4 perfect for me.

Ok, general consensus is no to paid DLC / Yes to TU dlc.

Also, how in any way is this spam?

This raises the question of why you’d even have to buy the DLC in that case.

No I would not buy an expansion or DLC package. Simply because of this spec code shenanigans. While I myself already have a code and access to the specs, I find it frankly disgusting that a developer and publisher has artificially stopped people from earning kits that can be game changers.

So for me, nope would not buy.

Its been done before. Paying for it means you have access to use the vehicles, free version only shows you what they are. Forza does it with all its car-packs, EA did it with Bad Company 2’s DLC that was absolutely required to play online, purchasing gave you access to the new features for personal use. Relic did it back in the day with the Company of Heroes expansion and gave out the data to everyone to ensure all could play vs one another, again paying for it gave you access to use personally.
