Would you be happy with a Classic Playlist?

I mean, a classic playlist that is actually classic and plays like the H4 You want.

Yes, but there was a thread like this made 10 mins ago.

If it stops the whining, yes please.

These aren’t very good options…

I don’t need a Halo 2/3 clone for the classic playlist just turn off all of the abilities, weapon drops, etc.

I just want to be able to play Halo 4 with all of it’s new weapons/vehicles, but without all of the gimmicks.

Based on the video Halo 4’s jump height looks almost exactly like Halo 2/3’s and the speed doesn’t look too bad either. I don’t want base-traits to be changed, just remove all of the extra stuff that has come along since Halo 3.

No. I will only feel truely happy if there are MULTIPLE classic playlists, one for each general playlist type (Slayer, Objective, BTB, SWAT, MLG…), but I’m happy any way. One classic playlist is worse than no classic playlist. It would mean the whole competitive community would be pushed into a small playlist, and I would much prefer adapting to the changes. Regardless, I will be happy with the game. The whole Infinity system sounds amazing!

PS: Like a poster above said, I wouldn’t want such playlists to be like Halo 2/3 but like Halo 4 without custom Loadouts and with a proper scoring system and some map-placed weapons. Not classic Halo, Halo Halo.

Like I said on the other thread, I want a nice Halo 2 playlist that (obviously) plays just like Halo 2. Some remade maps would be nice, as well.

Oh, what a coincidence, but i didn´t saw it before.

And why, I ask you, is core Halo gameplay being shoved and compacted into one playlist, forcing real fans to play one gametype?

No, I want a classic game.

Classic playlists are better than nothing classic at all!

1.) Debatable
2.) Why should we settle for one?

I disagree, read my above post.

I don’t want Halo 4 to have a classic playlist.

I simply want Halo 4 to be played like the game we fell in love with and have
every playlist the same: balanced.

I said playlists. Plural.

Right, sorry. I agree then.

What would it be, something like this?

Classic Team Slayer
Classic Team Objective
Classic Free For All
Classic Big Team Battle

Basically, yes. I really don’t think it should be called classic, though. It should just be Halo 4 minus the unbalanced additions. Maybe it should be called… Ranked?

I agree, that playlist setup if perfect. Just make it ranked and you’ve got it.

I just want a game without stupid gimmicks. Is that really so much to ask? Maybe the default playlists should have no gimmicks, and then the specialized playlists are the ones that have them.
