Would this work?

I know there have been a number of threads about players quitting and how to stop it, most say the banhammer doesn’t work and that penalties need to be harsher. Many people think that players quit rather then have a L against their name, if that is the case, would this work?

Once the “Deploying” countdown starts all players are “locked” into that game. A player leaving would go into a limbo mode were he was not in the map (so not giving easy kills to other team) but would not be able to start another game till that one finished and (here’s the kicker) he/she would get the same game result on their record as the players who stayed and played the game.

If you know you will not be able to start another game and if your team loses so do you, why would you leave?

(If this idea has been mentioned before I’m sorry but I have not seen it)

Well that could work but they could always just quit the build and restart their game

I guess the whole point (for it to work) is that they can’t do that (if this is even possible from a techincal stand point), they could go and play a different game but not Halo 5.

Reminds me of trying to quit out of runescape when you are in the wild in a fight but your player would stay in the game… only took me once to realize it wouldnt work lol.

Yea I don’t know if there would be a way to do that since everything on the Xbox one runs essentially as an app. Soo if you couldn’t quit out of something could cause some issues if it froze etc.
