Does anybody else miss the Falcon from Halo Reach? Who else wants it back in Halo 5: Guardians. I think it’s a shame that there is no UNSC air vehicles in Warzone. The falcon is also a great team vehicle that encourages players to work together. Tell me what you think
You don’t even know if it’s back or not.

Josh Holmes confirmed in a recent interview that there will not be a UNSC air vehicle in Warzone at launch

IN WARZONE
AT LAUNCH
With two separate things to interpret here, you could easily have them outside of Warzone. and/or be released after launch. With another thread already speaking about the addition of the Falcon, I don’t see why this one is needed, or relevant.
I wouldn’t mind the Falcon coming back. I also wouldn’t mind a new UNSC air vehicle instead.

You do realize that WARZONE includes everything in the sandbox, right? That being said, the falcon not being included implies that it won’t be flyable. This will be the 2nd game in a row with no flyable UNSC vehicle, which is annoying. Nice job with non constructive post.
But yeah there is absolutely no reason for the falcon to not return, it was one of my favorite vehicles to use in Reach. It utilized teamwork, which is why it was so fun to use.
4 player falcon maybe?

Game developers over-hype things all the time. I guarantee you there will be some things in the Halo sandbox not in Warzone. Whether one of those things will be the Falcon I don’t know, but when a guy like Josh Holmes or pretty much anyone working for 343i says “everything”, you can pretty much chalk that down to “a lot”, not everything.

I do find the wording “at Launch” curious combine that with the fact they have said that there will be new req content as time goes on and one might assume that they plan ta add the falcon or hornet just not at launch. it also (as you said) does not mean we will not have access to a UNSC flying vehicle in campaign.

And yet he simply asked if we wanted it back, and that it won’t be in warzone, which he knows and so do you, stop trying to incite an argument.

Or… bear with me here… they don’t have the cards available immediately. GASP!
It was constructive, just not to you. Get over it.
As long as I don’t complain about complainers, it’s constructive.

They have also said that Warzone will have every piece of the Halo sandbox in it. It doesn’t look like any UNSC air vehicles will be in the game. You are right about the AT LAUNCH part, but do you really think that they will add anything into the game like that? There is no precedent for that.
I think I see a pattern here
halo CE:
start on a ship
mysterious new world Halo
master chief alone most of time
covenant: Elite, grunt, jackal, hunter
new species flood
ends on a ship exploding
no flyable unsc vehicles only banshee
halo 4:
start on a ship
mysterious new world Reqlium
master chief alone most of the time
covenant: Elite, grunt, jackal, hunter
new enemy Prometheans
Ends on a ship exploding
no flyable unsc vehicles except the broadsword for campaign
halo 2:
new covenant enemy’s
Switch between two characters
only banshee flyable
halo 5:
new Promethean enemy’s
switch between two characters
but now banshee is not the only one flyable maybe this time we’ll see different flying vehicles other than the banshee and phaeton
but ya I hope we get some sort of unsc/covenant flying vehicles for BTB, warzone and customs like the
hornet
falcon
vulture
pelican
Phantom
spirit
Sareph the other ships in reachs campaign
and other things
I would like it back, but wouldn’t lose any sleep if it didn’t come back.
Aside from carrying passengers, the Phaeton already takes on the role of an omnidirectional hovering vehicle.
You guys know that sentences like “won’t be there at launch” are used as answers to keep the community calm? I heard a lot of developers using that sentence, but almost none of them resulted in the referred to feature getting added later on…
The only ones I remember ending up adding the features they referred to where high quality studios that worked together hand in hand with their community. And seeing how good 343 proved quality and communication with Halo 4 (okay campaign was fine) and the -yoink- they refer to as the MCC (being ironic here) I don’t see it happening even though I would love it being added.

This. The same exact line was given prior to H4s launch concerning campaign theater and file share browsing. Post launch it was never mentioned again.
Yes.
Would the fans like the Pelican in Halo 5?
FIFY
Yes, it’s the only vehicle variant now missing. Kinda disappointed that it won’t be in Guardians. I mean, the Mantis is great and all, but not at the cost of UNSC air vehicles. After they added the Hornet to H2A, I was sure that we’d find it in Halo 5, too.
Did I hear someone say “Sparrowhawk”…?
Oh, and where’s the love for the Revenant and Spectre?
