I think it would of been cool to have the elites played in multiplayer again especially in breakout. Would of been cool
I agree. Elites returning would be great, both for online use and machinima use.
The MCC was a blessing for having elite models available in Halo 2: Anniversary matchmaking.
I would love to see them in the game as well, I rarely played as a Sangheili and I did hear there was a whole debate on the fairness of Sangheilis for swat or something but still I’d love to see them and all their armor types back into the game.
If they’re only in gametypes like elite slayer and invasion, then sure. Warzone maps look like they would work perfectly for invasion.

I think 343 does have a chance to bring them back, 343 said they couldn’t work on it right away but now they could. Now you’re probably wondering “How will 343 balance the two races? Or will it just be an elite skin but with spartan abilities?” Well here’s my solution; They could do what they did in reach a bit, Elites were faster, had stronger melee, higher jump and stronger shields, however they were big and easy to spot. And instead of spartan abilities the Sangheili have these abilities to replace them:
Sprint=Sprint. Duh
Clamber- Climb. Duh again
Spartan Slide and Thruster Pack=Elite Evade. Basically they can do parkour rolls instead of slide
Spartan Slam: Sangheili Slash. Elites would use their famed strength to rush their foes and the animation is them drawing an energy dagger and slash at their foes.
Ground Pound=??? I know 343 can come up with something to help even out the Sangheili and Spartans.

But since it is 343i who started the trend of removing them its unlikely, they didn’t even bother having forerunner soldiers as an option to play as.
