Would love to see this in Halo 4

I don’t know if somebody remembered this, but I would love to see this in Halo 4 for BTB or an Invasion map, where you have to steel the core, for example, from an aircraft-carrier.
A boat is opening an other aspect in matchmaking. We have fights in the air, we have fights on land, but what we don’t have is fights in the water. Just imagine, what maps the community would create, with boats.

If somebody knows, in which trailer this boat was, please post the link here, because I can’t find it anymore(In the trailer were things that didn’t make it into Halo 3, too. For example hijacking a hunter).

The video you’re referring to contained early tests for things to include in Reach, it was done in Halo 3 because that’s what they had running at the time.

I would absolutely LOVE IT, but only if they actually make it unique and different. If it’s just a Warthog that sails on a flat sea, they shouldn’t bother. But if there would be huge waves, and you would have to strategically maneuver around the environment while “calculating” which wave to ride- while fighting off waves of enemies aswel- that I would like.

that vid is awesome. the space battle features an actual fleet, the ground battle looks much bigger and the danger close bombing raid in the city… that’s everything i missed in Reach…

Yeah I miss these things, too. I wanted that boat and I wondered, why the Banshee can’t shoot the laser, like it does in this video. My friends called me mad, because “there was and is no laser”. Now I can show them, that I’m not mad, but a harcore-fan and that I saw it right.
