I’ve posted this in other threads. They clearly have a map editor. If they don’t want to make any more at least sell us the map editor and let us have custom matches with friends(or a playlist). The number released at launch was a good start but double that number should be easy to pump out.??? BTW not bashing the company as I think balance is coming along and the leaders are dope. But seriously I would make 100 maps in my spare time for free. Releasing more maps and/or an editor is a win win situation as they could make money, appease fans who have spent hard earned(or not) money, and greatly improve the replayability and even life span of the game. Thoughts…
I completely agree though I suspect they might after the release of all the leaders. The unfortunate truth is HW2 isn’t as popular as Halo 5 so from a investment perspective why add something to it if it might not work out. Like everyone else though I do hope they add new maps. It would make sense.
ya the current maps are starting to get boring. especially the 2 worst maps in the game highway and vault is just -Yoink!-.
we need to forge add on but before this 343 please add spectator mode for customs. add unit build order with times and it would be nice to view a match replay in like theatre mode like halo 5s.
halo 5 really is not that popular either. its not that great aswell infact i vet you 60% of the current population mainly plays because there addictes to the good feeling you get when you open a pack. i was for awhile but meh, teams dominated warzone and playing solos hust impossible vs a team
i hope they bring more maps soon. in halo wars 1 there are 16 maps. Please maps maps maps!!

They do have a map editor but releasing it is another question. It would be extremely good form of them to do but even if they wanted to I’m not sure if the Xbox One could manage it. Some map editors can be fairly intensive on system resources and I’d say the maps were built on PC.
They could release it on PC and make a file share system so Xbox One players could use the maps.

This^ But some guy/gal who works there surely could build 3 new maps a week for a coupl months. I used to make that many good playable maps in a day with Starcraft/Warcraft map editor in the damn 90s and then I could play those maps with friends. This game needs this.
