Would Halo 5 Guardians be like Halo 2?

Hello everyone this is EspadaFive here to talk about halo 5 Guardians. I believe that halo 5 might be like Halo 2.
In the previously Halo game we had two playable characters, the Master Chief A.K.A John 117 and the Arbiter.
In the new Halo game you have two playable characters. The Master Chief and this unknown spartan. We do not know much about him/her but we know that its a male spartan you’ll be playing in the new Halo game.I believe that the unknown spartan can be Gabriel Thorne.
- he have the mark on the same place like the arbiter
- He also might hunt down Dr. Halsey and the Heretics location.
- You might revisit a location where the heretics once lived
I believe that the unknown spartan can be Gabriel Thorne.
His symbol is a lot similar to the arbiter. It’s exactly on the same spot on the left side of his chest. It could be that he was given the mark of shame. So he was derank and to redeem himself is to work for this -Yoink- called Admiral Serine Osman commander of Naval Intelligence to Sera Palmer from executing Dr Halsey. It can also be It’s his job hunt down two targets The Master Chief and Dr. Halsey.

I want 3 playable characters. The Master Chief, the Arbiter, and the new character. It would add so much necessary depth and intricacy to the story. I felt that the single perspective in Halo 3 and 4 was extremely limiting and hampered not only my enjoyment of the story, but its development as well. The Arbiter is an extremely pivotal individual now, more than ever, and I’d be very interested to play from his point of view again.

So it will split the community even more and have the older community create a “Halo5sucks.com” website to illustrate that?

Going with multiple characters could be a bad idea as that wasn’t executed so well in Halo 2. Many people were put off from playing the Arbiter and the stories from both sides weren’t fully fleshed out as well as they could have been. Eventually ending in a cliffhanger that not many people responded to so well.

Making one story work in a videogame is pretty hard, having to do two stories can be close to impossible. At least, giving both stories enough time without dragging out the levels to give the story some room.

They said it was a brand new character.

I think it would be great if there were two distinct sides to the campaign: Master Chief’s and the ONI Spartan-IV.

And how exactly did you come to the conclusion that if its a dual campaign its going to suck? Can you foresee the future?

That has nothing to do with the story itself, and more to do with a lack of organisation on the writers’ part. Halo 2 had an unfinished, and rushed story, which ended on a cliffhanger because 5 of the levels were cut before release, and timing was extremely limited. Also, the execution was not exactly up to scratch. The stories were too cut-up, and didn’t exactly connect well. Contrast to Halo 3: ODST, where it follows multiple perspectives, and all of the stories intertwine and flow appropriately. If they can adopt this method for Halo 5, it should work.

Despite all of the criticism Halo 2’s campaign received, i thoroughly enjoyed it, more so than all of the rest. I especially liked playing as an elite, and would love to have that opportunity again.
