What it says above all reach dlc is free so get it so I can find a game on the maps already and get my achievements.
I have never understood (besides storage restrictions) why people won’t download the free DLC lol
I’ve had the DLC downloaded once I saw the Waypoint post saying it was free. Maybe people don’t check the news as often as others do, and still have no idea it’s free.

That’s why I put this up so people will see it.
I think lack of knowledge is the main reason people do not download the DLC. I haven’t played Reach in a few weeks, but when I did, I sent a message to all recent players except the ones I know I already messaged, and those whose recently four achievement are all difficult ones from different map packs:

After I get a new list of people I repeat the process. To speed things up, I start searching in matchmaking (except Anniversary), but try to back out before all players are found, but if I accidentally get into a lobby I will stay.
Occasionally I get a few responses from confused Spanish speakers, so I respond again, but in Spanish (via Google translate). I need to get back around to leaving posts in the LFG letting people know the DLC is free (in English and Spanish), I’ve been getting lazy.
The best way to do it is just get xbox smartglass, make a message saying dlc is free and copy that message and paste it so everyone knows and you can save your sanity from using that dreaded virtual keyboard
In the 4-5 months since I picked up reach again, I think I’ve played 3 team slayer matches on dlc maps. Would love for people to download the dlc for some variety. Uncaged, asylum, sword base, countdown, boardwalk, repeat.
