I know this is some old news but some people found certain ties to Doom and Halo that could have meant a collab. Now I doubt this will happen but I want to know what you guys think. The only problems would probably be doom doesn’t really match Halo’s style and Doom slayer’s armor actually shows visible skin. I know this could just be replaced with some extra armor but who knows maybe they would have added skin color customization? Overall I may have picked it up if it came out at a decent price but again I want to know what you guys think.

I love Halo for the universe. Up until like 2 years ago, that universe was somewhat cohesive. Since then, they’ve seriously muddied it with Fractures and the Silver timeline. They’ve added all kinds of weird cosmetics that are supposedly canon. Full on crossovers with other series? Even worse. To me it feels like low hanging fruit, why make more good halo when they could just mash up halo and other stuff and keep selling new stuff?

I totally agree. Being a halo fan since pretty much the beginning it has been kinda weird watching halo grow into a completely different game. I think halo is in this weird stage where they it is deciding what it wants to be. Does it want to expand and appeal to newer gamers or stick with the classic gameplay and keep the old players. I don’t know if their is a way to bring both crowds together so that is why they are having so much trouble. Yes I would maybe pick up the Doom x Halo skin but it wouldn’t feel like halo.
