I’m just thinking that because I don’t own all the map packs, only Noble. But it would be a real shame if the Beta Hoppers required all DLC, since I was looking forward to the Title Update
I don’t think the Beta Hoppers are going to reqire DLC. First of all, 343i will be testing general gameplay and not specific maps. And secondly, the more people participate, the more data/feedback 343i get.

Look at my edit. I want to play the maps I pay for even in the regular playlists.
It should or 343 should really push for DLC to be downloaded cause the people that bought the maps barely ever get to play them unless they go to specific playlists.

Sometimes Breakpoint shows up in Invasion… sometimes, and I mean like rarely-to-not at all. And I always see Unearthed in FF, but that’s because it’s easier to try to find four people with the map packs and put them together, than, say, 16. Outside of the Premium Playlists, I rarely see the maps.
I hope it does, i’d love to play the changes on the DLC maps. It would also give people who haven’t bought them yet but want to play beta hoppers a reason to buy them. Its annoying how I don’t get to play the maps I bought outside of the premium playlists because others won’t buy them. I think DLC should be mandatory again, like halo 3.
Maybe not in BH but when the new DLC comes I’d definitely like some changes to map veriety.

The Noble map pack has been out for 10 months now and still isn’t mandatory for matchmaking. What makes you think it’ll be any different for the HCEA maps? While I think it’s safe to say that more people will buy HCEA than have bought both or even only one map pack, it still takes just one single person who doesn’t have it for DLC/HCEA maps not to show up.
The two map packs were on sale a month ago for 400 MSP each. So it was a buy one get one free deal. Their was no excuse to not have the map packs by now.

Play the Premium Battle lobby, 2/3 games are on Breakpoint and its usually invasion.

Yeah, sad but true. Not that I dislike Breakpoint Invasion, but I’d love to play CTF on Highlands or anything else for a change.

I’m not talking about integrating the DLC’s to the rest of the playlists I would just like to see more veriety in Premium Playlists and maybe others with new and old maps. Plus I believe that more people will WANT the new maps since they are classics and since it’s also comming with the HCE remake. No promises that every one will get them, at least not emmediately. Though, who doesn’t want any of the new maps? There are 7, you gotta at least like half of them.

I don’t know about you, but I see countdown a lot more than Sword Base, but anyway…
Op topic, I really hope all DLC is required. I love both map packs, and I want to see them in more playlists
