Would be nice to have Jet Packs!

Oh Hell no neither would I, In a 24 user game I would only have 6 on each team.

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:

Infinite has nodes and stuff, a double jump or something should be doable.

Jetpacks aren’t necessary.

Action sack would be a good place to add it and forge world among other things like Halo Reach offered when it came to picking loadouts. This way the ones that want to have a little fun, and the ones that like to be competitive have options.

If you take the time to read my post again. I didn’t say I was against custom games.
You can adjust equipment to do what you want, within custom games.
In a multiplayer setting they shouldn’t be in the game, but you can’t have them added unless they are used multiplayer.

Maybe they can make a fun game mode with them and that would be cool like jet back griftball, like the golf club.
But you don’t actually need them for custom games, you can create your own equipment and make them act as a jet pack.
I don’t want them in BTB, Normal Casual, or Ranked lobbies. Maybe only griftball and other rumble pit modes but why should they waste time making this fantasy come true when we need other stuff.

But there’s so many other things that need to be added/fixed before jet packs. I don’t think it should even be a priority or a fun thought until another year or two.

Your 100% Correct!! hehehe I play custom games ONLY!! I saw a Forge video that the user was shooting bots out of a pistol

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:

You know jet pack wasn’t broken in reach mlg when it was a pick up ability. If it was an equipment with little usage it wouldn’t be op. I think I speak for most when I say if the equipment were permanent traits this game be ridiculously op and annoying. Although thruster wouldn’t be too bad it worked in h5.

The jet pack was great in Reach and 4, but I’m okay with it not being in Infinite.

I’ll disagree with everyone. Jetpacks were great.
Especially in H4 I had limitless fun with those things.
I’d be all for seeing a jetpack-comeback.
Probably my favourite added ability Halo has ever had, apart from maybe the arbiter’s camo in H2

The Arbiter’s camp in Halo 2 was a feeling like no other! I loved it.

Jetpack jumper controller button layout is super awesome and goes wicked nicely with the flow of halo infinite map maneuverability. Adding the spartan ground pound from halo 5 on top of jetpack jumper is like a brain dopamine squeezer with the music sync to gameplay subtleties.

Charge that shihh up and slam that DROP on the map like it was foretold in the prophecies of many of our dreams

There is somebody that made one in Forge!

The short and simple answer to this topic is no.

Even if it’s custom Forge equipment prefabs, I want all the Halo Reach and Halo 4 equipment back for Custom Games

I wouldn’t mind seeing all the old Abilities from Halo Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5 but remade into Equipment.
But all equipment should be locked down to only 3 times with a 15sec recharge. To keep things balanced amongst the sandbox.

I did some of that in my maps. My Reach maps CTF Bloodgulch Extreme and my Other map Called 1 Big F’ n Map a CTF map.

I had all the weapons and vehicles in the map on each team. As far as the Jet pack I put 4 on each team with unlimited jet flying. It was fun. Snipers in the sky lol it was great. I will setup most of my maps in Halo Infinite with some awesome mods and other things I can do with forge. Can’t wait to get my grubby hands on FORGE!! YA BABY!!!

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:

i feel people would rather want playable elites than jetpacks back lol

Also, i’m sure forge will get gravity fields, like h4, which will be the same thing.

I could get behind this idea to support more equipment and more ever changing flow of the game.
