Granted, some people don’t like Jet Packs. Some of the people I play with don’t like Jet Packs either. I will give the option if a user wants to use it our not. They will be setup at each base. It will be up to each user if they want to use it or not.
Just like you can choose what weapon you want to use. All the Weapons in the game will be at your base at the beginning of the game. Just like the Vehicles. Respond Times will be set at 90 seconds.
I had no problems with Halo MCC. User’s used it all the time in the Custom Bloodgulch map. So nobody will be “FORCED” to use it. So when Forge comes out and we get a Custom Game Browser. Everyone will have a choice on what weapons they wish to use.
But the forge is allowing us to not need a jet pack. You can physically use commands for your own equipment.
Jet packs shouldn’t come to multiplayer, if people want to make their own, similarly how you can change your weapons. Do your thing but in a multiplayer setting they would ruin and disrupt the play style.
Only as a limited use map pick up, like all other equipment. I wouldn’t mind seeing all the old stuff back, except armor lock, that is still the worse thing ever in Halo, with Spartan charge being a close second. There should be no 'invincibility" button in Halo. But why not have jet pack, bubble shield, power drain, re-gen back as limited use map pick ups?
i liked the halo 3 regenerator much more than the halo 4 regenerator. the power drain would be cool too because it could be like a bigger shock grenade or something idk
good items and equipment for people with forge+ to have a crack at.
edit: i did not use spartan charge very much, but it was a cool feature in halo 5. being able to sprint and increase melee damage makes sense.
however, one ability that i was quite sad to see disappear is the spartan ground pound. because that was just friggin awesome in halo 5. i used that ability all the time. u charge up and like bzzzzzzz WHAM!!! thats mad cool WAY cool and should be reintroduced into at least forge and custom games for halo infinite.
Ground pound was good as it had to be charged, aimed and timed right… Spartan charge should have been the same way instead of a get out of jail free card for just sprinting around like crazy.
Well that sounds like to many for regular BTB. More like one or two per team for limited use. I wouldn’t want the map flooded with jet packers.
