As someone who has been away from Halo for a long time, my friends list isn’t really populated with many Halo players, so naturally I joined a Company. It’d be great to have a company tab next to the friends tab in game so I could more easily see who’s online and so on.
Would be awesome to have a lot of things, like Team Doubles, for example.
The Company hub, or a way to see online people from the company… Its like any guild list on any mainstream mmo. i kinda expected this when I heard of the companies

Yeah I kept looking around to see if I missed it in game, but couldn’t find anything.
Do Spartan Companies actually do anything? I know you get a req pack for joining one, but is that it?
I’ve been saying/thinking this for a while now. Until (or if) they do add some in-game functionality, there’s a workaround.
Have the company leader or someone make a meta-account/company-account. Then everybody friends that account, and the CL friends everyone in the company via the company account, and now you can look at the account’s friends (“followed” in Xbox One terms) any time you want. This way you can see who is and is not online or playing halo 5 at any given time.
I agree we need an in-game hub that does this at the bare-minimum, but at least we can do this for the time being.
I would of joined a company if it was in game. I don’t really see the point in joining one with it being out of the game.
Company Hub sounds like a good idea to me, 343 could also expand and add more to company’s first.
not really, i would have embarrassed myself today, i was having a really off day since it was teh first time i have been on since last tuesday
i joined the BackPacks but got carried hard myself today lol
the only thing i carried on was the CTF matches but slayer and strongholds i just couldnt get into a rhythm lol
then i played some warzone to chill but that game just makes my blood pressure go up when my team likes to set up camps in bases and eat smores and sing kum bai ya
but i digress…
there is a lot to be desired in the lobby and yes this would be something to see in the future

They’re a way to join a smaller halo community that have similar reasons for playing halo, which gives you a built-in pool of “friends” to play halo with. They’re also the only real way to get in organized custom-matches for people who don’t have 4+ friends that play halo 5. Right now they’re mostly good for scheduling pre-planned events.
They could be a lot more if integrated into Halo 5 itself, but that’s up to 343 (and is probably low on their list of things to do).

Great idea. But, I don’t think companies do anything. All they are there for is to get you a free req pack.

which would be amazing if there were better customs/gametypes
forge will help but only if more gametypes come with it
