That’s Daniel Cudmore. He does play the role of John-117 in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

I’m pretty sure Master Chief is super pale from being in his suit a lot. Like ghostly pale. But honestly, no matter what face they choose to use or whatever face they design, somebody is going to be upset. There isn’t a way to please everyone in this situation.
no master chief shouldn’t look like some pretty boy actor, he should look mean, hard, battle ridden and scarred. also pale.
edit: kinda like Marcus from gears of war. i’m not saying chief should look like Marcus but he should have similar characteristics, like Marcus has this though and angry look, i imagine chief would too.

A bit older and a bit more pale but that’s a great base for him I think. Eventually, I would love to see his face. I’d be satisfied whether or not they ever showed his face but with 343i wanting to put more story emphasis on John I feel like the reveal of his face is a potential possibility. It is a new trilogy.

To be fair, though, he’s probably the most fit human being alive and he spends a lot of time in cryo, he probably looks 30.

Yeah, but he’s spent a lot of time in cryostasis. So his actual age might not reflect his biological development. Probably more so when you consider the fact that he’s a Spartan.

YES! Considering the fact that he’s wearing armor in that picture, I agree entirely. I wouldn’t want to see John-117’s physical likeness as an adult.

Forget any past, present, or future suggestions about John’s physical appearance. This is the man we need to portray the Chief in live action.
naa Master Chief is faceless for me, I hope they never reveal his face, I know he plays his role on FUD but we just pretend he is not behind that helmet.
