Would anyone here like to see a sandtrap remake in the future? I loved that map in H3.
Remember the past but don’t live in it. I’d rather have 100% all new maps.
A remake or a new map completely based on Sandtrap is find with me and as long as there’s two giant elephants I’m good.

Really? I dont think the community does. Why do you think the only map people ever vote for is Ragnarok?
New maps would be nice if they were good, Ive heard many people complain about the Crimson pack, and I am taking their word for it and not wasting my money on it.
A “Throwback Map Pack” will be extremely popular among halo fans, and would sell much better. If they do make something like this, Sandtrap is a must. Although 343i didnt make any new vehicles to replace the halo 3 exclusives, like the chopper (and prowler for “heavy” modes).

I think 343 had their atempt at map designing and failed horribly, now its time for the remakes to salvage what is left of this game…
ragnarok is actually the best btb map handsdown
if they remake sandtrap it better not have like a million barriers like every other map and a really low ceiling barrier for no reason
No thanks, atleast not with the current paper vehicles and the dmr aka sniper spawn.
If those things get fixed than I would love to see a remake of this map with the elephants of course 
I would love it to play Infection on. It was my favorite in Halo 3 for that. Plus, elephants!
None of them can work with Halo as it is right now. Vehicles are too under powered and everyone spawns with Stickies and Plasma Pistols. It would not end well unless you feel like hoofing it.
343 better see this topic and take into a serious consideration a throwback map pack with Sandtrap, Avalanche/Sidewinder, Last Resort/Zanzibar, Turf, Hang Em’High, and…sword base (lol jk) But seriously those other maps need to be in a map pack for Halo 4

We need as many new maps as possible. Really tired of seeing the same, old maps over and over again.
It would not be the same unless it was in a classic playlist too. What made those maps so great was the balance of weapons on the map and that balance causing teams to move around an control different sections. Say they put Avalanche in Halo 4. Half of the team rushes to Laser while the other half controls key hole sniper. Laser guy on whatever team died it despawns in 2 seconds, sniper guy on your team died it despawns before you can get to it. Now you are faced with a team that has Keyhole control and a sniper. That will lead to the enemy team getting ordinance from killing you with the sniper support so they get more power weapons such as lasers, binary riffles, shot guns and more lasers. With key hole a lost cause your team attempts to fight back with vehicles. Those that are not lasered as stopped almost instantly at the enemy base because they spawn with -Yoinking!- plasma pistols and sticky grenades.
As much as I’d like these maps to return the current way this game behaves would result in epic failure of those cherished maps. Look at Valhalla. Teams sit at water cave shotgun cave or behind blue base. Not at all like Halo 3 where neutral turret center and pelican were top priorities to control laser.
Would rather see Relic (Sandtrap being to Relic what Valhalla was to Coagulation.)

Wow now I remember how fun Infection was on Sandtrap.
Theres probably no way that they can incorporate Elephants or Mammoths into multiplayer, so I’ll say no. It would be a good remake without them.
I miss Sandtrap but I’d rather 343 actually work out how to design maps themselves rather than ride on Bungies coattails.
Ragnarok is a painfully shameless copy-paste job, and the saddest part of it is that it was a mediocre H3 map and in H4 its one of the best maps.
Sandtrap was one of my favorite halo 3 maps.
Would be nice but doesn’t work with the DMR. Reach/halo 3 got away with open maps (blood gulch, sandtrap, etc.) because of 6 shot kills (Reach DMR) and/or slow-as–Yoink-/invisible-wall-finding bullets (halo 3).
That is partly why Ragnorak was chosen because of the hills (plenty of cover from 5sk).
