Would anyone else like to see emotes added to Halo?

Hello all! I think it would be awesome if our spartans had emotes! You know like a I’m sorry, funny, or a rock on symbol? Anyone else?

You mean like using Emotes in-game? Because they kind of have emotes in the form of Stances.

Doesn’t really seem like the kind of game for it. Granted Battlefront 2 (EA) added them in, and for the most part it didn’t stand out as out of place.

Imma go ahead and flag / report this post ; We don’t do emotes here in the Halo community. Leave that to COD and Fortnite lol

I constantly wish I could do this in the way it’s done in Gears 5- a lot of the emotes are just your characters saying “thanks”, “sorry”, “move up”, or laughing- a lot of things that are genuinely “emotes”. I think that could be great in Halo I just don’t really wanna see dances and stuff

As much as emotes are the new in game mechanic that new games have to have.

Halo doesn’t need them. It’s already fast pace enough trying to run and gun. The only emote we have is all we need. Teabagging will never be replaced by some Tictok dance crap.

I’ll pass. Wasn’t interested in Halo 5’s Spartans broing out at the end of the match in the Halo 5 Beta and wouldn’t really want this either.

Definitely not. They are more clutter and system overhead. I would not use them.

I’d stopping playing Infinite immediately and permanently if emotes of any kind are added.

I could maybe tolerate a thumbs up or pointing but as soon as the system for emotes is added, it will sure as hell get monetized with quirky crap in the store.

I want a stance for my Spartan in this game where he’s sitting down, with a nite cap on and a pillow in his hand sleeping after a match.

They already have the only one you’ll ever need and it’s free, it’s bound to the button you crouch with.

Idk I think I would to see my spartan do a little dance. Or tell someone there’s a one shot.

Nope. This ain’t Fortnite. I don’t even like some of the things the Spartans currently say. When would a soldier say an enemy is on a spree for example.

I think I’m gonna have to go with, “Absolutely not”.

We already have our universal crouch emote and its the only one we need.

If there is going to be an option for some other method of expression for our Spartans that I wouldn’t mind seeing again, it’d be with Assassinations if they decide to come back.

I think Stances provide enough of an “emote,” what button would activate Emotes anyways? 343 would probably just stuff it inside the already crowded ‘X’ button.

Emotes were added to Gears 5 and only a few felt appropriate to me for the feel of the game.
Others just felt out of place for the characters to be making on the battlefield.
So, I would vote no.
I would rather have assassinations back if wanting to go the more fancy route…just make it a clear action and then those could become unlockables for progression.

Definitely not in-game.
I can only imagine all the “Hey, look at me, I bought something from the shop” community doing emotes every 2 seconds during the match to prove something / seek attention, which would totally kill the gameplay flow.

I think the default stances pre match work fine right now.

is this a casuals thing?, because i never have time to even -Yoink!- in my matches. emotes? would not work.
