Since MC is the only spartan left, why would they have all these armor abilities just for one spartan???
The canon can be bent if need be.
However, I’d rather just not see AAs in general. They just annoy the competitive types, and really when my casual friends played the game, most of them used sprint anyways.
there won’t be AA’s in halo 4 after all the endless crap about how bad they are.
MC isn’t the last spartan left
there could be anywhere between 15 and 1000 spartans left
i think i read somewhere that armor abilities were new technology developed by the UNSC in Reach, but when the planet fell that technology was lost
I hope they are lost. Hopefully they never find it AGAIN!

AA’s never existed in canon. Spartan III’s also did not have shields. Bungie really blew canon strait to hell with Reach.

Not necessarily, as you know, some Spartans (including noble team) were experimenting with non-authorized UNSC equipment, and this includes armor abilities, and likely shields as well. I honestly wouldn’t insult Bungie about the canon, if you don’t know it yourself. They MADE it, they know what the hell they wrote and just because something is never mentioned, that doesn’t mean it never happened.
maybe there are powerup stations that upgrade his armor? May not be the case, but a metroid designer joining 343 may hint at something similar.

Your gross misunderstanding of the canon doesn’t mean that ‘Bungie blew the canon strait to hell with Reach.’
OT: H4 can have AAs. They’ll just quack like AAs, walk like AAs, swim like AAs but be called something else entirely.
No, it wouldn’t make sense for them to destroy a perfectly good video game with armor abilities.

wrong, SPI armor is the one that did not have shields, specialized Spartan-III teams like Noble used the Mjolnir armor

Hey man, Bungie CREATED canon.
Haha, i see what your saying. i couldn’t help myself.
But no…i don’t think so. I don’t want to see it either.

Well, considering THEY created Halo, they can do anything with the fiction they want, even though it is annoying to see these kinds of errors in canon, but just because a book author said they didnt have armor abilities/shields, doesnt mean the actual creators of the canon cant change it
The trailer could be considered a pretty strong suggestion. Although, I could be wrong.

SPI armour which was used by most of the Spartans IIIs didn’t have shields. Noble Team were wearing MJOLNIR Mark V, which DID use shields.
I think it would be okay. As for competitive types, i can’t say they will be too crazy about it. They complain about ANYTHING that prevents them from getting a kill. If it doesn’t let you kill people like COD then they will complain about it slowing down the game. Luna forbid that they actually try to have fun with a GAME every once in a while.
They could expand. Create something new, like A.I hacks since Cortana is back. Giving the player the option to add points to different areas of their suit. Like increasing their jump height, their melee strength, their running speed, etc.
Either Loadouts don’t make sense in Halo…
That and AAs canon-wise don’t make sence in Halo 4 either.

Agreed.
They should create something new, instead of adding loadouts and AAs, which the fanbase didn’t like.
