The Spiker is a rifle.

I think they mean a long-barrelled precision rifle.

They sure do
I like that idea, it would make for some awesome assassinations.

looks hopeful

Sir, I think you may be onto something.

Yeah I know, but it is kinda redundant. We don’t know how the other rifles work.
The only way I think it could work is if you gave it a very high bloom rate.
Halo 4 seems to have plenty precision weapons, but could always use a heavy
A LMG/HMG brute weapon would be perfect, an awesome gun used only by the best, limited accuracy but big ammo and plenty of fire rate/power, a born “shredder”. Can be used against infantry or vehicles, at close-mid range.
Not if this rifle was capable of giving Unicorns.
No, Halo reach had too many weapons that basically did the same thing as other weapons, spiker/plasma rifle/plasma reapter

This isn’t an automatic like all those, though. It’s a semi-automatic precision rifle.

this^ he is right even my concept was semi-auto. although its looking like halo 4 wont have many automatics

as far as I know, we already have 4 precision weapons in H4, even though none of them are semi-auto, it doesn’t seem like we really need more precision weapons tbh…

You guys, he just mention those guns as examples of “weapons that besicly did the same thing as other weapons”, the fact they’re automatics and not “semi-automatic precision rifles” is not the point.
DMR, light rifle, carbine, there you got some, the Br is not all that different either ^^
Halo needs more unique weapons (needler) not more precision weapon clones.

Thank you
Don’t think we’ll be seeing Brute weaponry. It was all dated anyway.
We have UNSC, Forerunner, and Covie weapons. Thats enough cultures of weapons

All those weapons functioned differently.

This actually sounds very nice.
OT: I would love to see a proper rifle variant using Halo 3’s spiker ammunition. Not going to lie, I would religiously use that!

In case you didnt know brute where/was (unclear yet) apart of the covie

Perfect Dark had 3 “cultures” of weapons, each section having enough variety to cover one game.
and that was considered the best Halo game before Halo.
