I was looking through the internet and found that there will be no beta for halo 4, I am optimistically worried about this because from what I researched and have obtained from unspeakable resources the “perks” and “weapon load outs” so naturally I was and still am thinking “we went down the wrong way in the fork in the road” that was when I thought well lets wait till the beta. But without a beta I really am contemplating whether or not to even get the game and wait for one of my friends to tell me if it was alright or not.
I was even going to preorder the limited edition if the beta was decent enough.
My question to 343 is if a beta could be made for multiplayer for halo 4 just so we don’t go cold turkey till halo 4 comes out. I know you want all resources working on the game itself but feedback is important.
If we have learned one thing from 2012 video games it is that feedback from your community can stop something like the citadel-crucible incident from happening again.
You can submit your feedback based on the information you are given, the whole point of a beta isn’t to take feedback on features, by that time a LOT of it is finalised, it is to find bugs, stress test online and many other things.
Having an online public beta for Halo 4 according to 343i would slow their progress down on the game, I’d prefer for it to ship on November 6th than later.
Things can be changed through updates later on if the community really think it’s that bad.
Also I hope they release a campaign demo before the game comes out.
I like surprises that is why I would want to wait till the full game for anything to do with the story. If I have to wait a little while longer for game so be it wheres the nearest cryo tube.
Stress testing a new engine for a game with online features is only logical.

I actually don’t want a campaign demo prior to release. Think about it, you’d play a part of the first level, finish the demo, then you would be sitting there wanting to play more, and to play it right away.
I want to be able to sit down, start the campaign without knowing what’s coming, and beat it all in one sitting.
They don’t have sufficient time to produce a beta for Halo 4. They think it would slow down development, big time. Although, they are doing internal beta testing within Microsoft. I don’t know about you, but I want Halo 4 sooner rather than later.
Public beta are more “demo” and “ads” for games these days. They’re still a part about possible bugs and connection stress but the first goal of the beta though. Some game do really benefit from beta but most of the time they are invitation if not restricted beta when it does happen.
As all online Halo games have had at least 1 TU or more HALO 4 will probably need 1 down the road and thats fine…
I still want Exp per playlists like Halo 3 had Please 343i — can I haz exp per playlist ?

Only if they give me some sort of Visible TruSkill ranking system, unlike Reach’s or StarCrafts.
