I’ve been playing Halo 5 nonstop, and I keep hearing people talk about how Reach is one of the best Halo games to date with respect to multiplayer and whatnot. Is it worth getting?
Reach is by far my favourite Halo of them all. Not only the multiplayer, which I only got to play 2 years after lunch, was amazing but also the campaign … I mean, if you’re into Halo, the fall of Reach was how it all begun.
I want to buy it again, my only doubt is : can I buy a Halo Reach copy for the 360 just to play on my xbox one ?
Reach was the first bad Halo game. It actually managed to kill off a good chunk of the community too.
The story is also bad. If you want to know how Reach fell, I suggest reading The Fall of Reach, which is way more canon then the game could ever hope to be.
Take it from a fan who’s been playing Halo since Halo 1.
Many see it as a good game but in my opinion only the multiplayer is fun.
Halo Reach plays very differently to Halo 5.
If you find Halo CE, 2 (2A) and 3 frustrating in MCC, but you enjoy Halo 4 and 5. You’ll probably find Reach frustrating too.
As much as the changes made the experience more casual, overall the gameplay is still far closer to Classic Halo than it is Modern Halo.
Still, the game has been out quite a while and you could buy a disc version for very cheap.
Well it is the best Halo game so… yeah.
I just played Reach for the first time on backward compat and really enjoyed it. Controller stuff is different from H5, but you’ll get used to it. I found the gameplay to be solid and pretty fun. While it may not follow the story exactly - it is a good look into the first encounters with the Covenant on Reach and the skirmishes that ultimately led to the fall of Reach. I say go for it!
Yes! I posted a thread about this a week ago. I got it and it’s amazing. Great campaign and lots of multiplayer content. I only wish MS dropped the paid DLC, it’s been more than 5 years.
Reach is an amazing game and should be part of any Halo lover’s collection.

It is worth getting. Not the greatest installment, but a good side story.

I’m still under the illusion 343/microsoft did this on purpose. Or they are THAT incompetent that they botch every game. Hmmmm
I highly recommend you buy Halo reach. It is very fun game to play. It may feel slow compared to later released halo games but their is still at lot of fun stuff to do in reach.

Multiplayer is really fun.
If you haven’t played it I highly recommend it! It was and still is one of my favourite games and still has a decently active player base Monday there was 13,000 pleople in the multiplayer. If nothing else though the story is really well done and worth a playthrough for sure. Yes you can play it on xbone with disk or digital.
Definitely worth getting Reach, its one of the must have games.

I play halo reach not long ago and I never get tired … sometimes when I’m sick in a way I 'm going to play in the campaign or in the shootout to win commendations or I will try to learn more about the history of the game and it motivates me to play every day more and nonstop Today I am general grade 3 and still not tired Leveraging thank the form of friends who helped when I needed mi and mi told what to do in certain situations Undoubtedly Halo Reach is an epic game and has great graphics and great gameplay I recommend it to everyone and I know that anyone who has played any Halo know I’m right
you can pick it up used at Gamestop for about 4-5 bucks
