This is easily the worst community I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing. I read these posts, and it kinda freaks me out when I realize most of them are probably from adults, when in fact they read like they’re coming from spoiled little kids. This latest episode concerning the Crimson maps really brought out the -Yoink-.
I play games for fun, that’s what they are supposed to be all about. When did you forget this? What’s with all the anger? IT’S A FREAKING VIDEO GAME.
Now, there are some cool people here, even those who express their negative opinions of this game respectfully, and with class. But sadly these people are few and far between.
I’m gonna go play and have a good time. And before somebody checks my stats and tries to discredit me based on them, yeah, I suck, but one day I will be good, and you will still be a**holes.
I disagree with your statements , but thats because I feel Halo 4 and Reach had a disappointing launch. (Reach turned out alright and 4 will turn out alright to!)
However I’m a bit surprised people are actually trying to get to court with this specialization and map pass issues.

Yes, they do, but just how many have you seen that were reasonable acting when making their complaints?
This is not the best community but there is far far worse. Must I bring up call of duty? People call any set up with any attachment or kill streak cheap. Basically anything halo has bad is 100x worse in this.
One of the worst is world of Warcraft. People not only complain but even discriminate towards other players in their own community much more than here. If we have a divide between those who are casual and competitive we can both agree that we enjoy difference aspects of the game and find common ground on some modes. Wow people argue and discrimate on faction, race, and class. I played as a human paladin Retribution, most paladins are tanks, I was a damage dealer. People would not always want me despite the survival and utility support my class brought. Other times I have seen people who treated my setup like a god and were rude to those I respected. Wow has such a bad community, at their conventions alliance and horde players acted out in violence on each other, over fictional game factions. That’s how limited their players can be at times.
Valve has troublemakers in their community too, it’s all headshot here and there. If you can’t get a headshot in their games then people complain. I once nailed an entire team as a sniper in tf2 but most kills we’re body shots. No one always makes a big deal about it in halo but in tf2 they act as if they should be proud they died and lost, yet I outperformed them when they were snipers too.
There are much worse than halo, cod and wow are among the worst in my experience.

Quite a few, actually. There have also been many simply ranting angrily, as well. But plenty have simply said, “I feel I am entitled to some compensation,” and that is hardly unreasonable imo.
Effectively, those who purchased the map pack pass with a promise of a discount, now pay MORE than those who got today’s pack for free will, for the remaining packs. They have every right to feel cheated. I agree with them, particularly as I purchased not one but two map packs (one for a friend.)

These adults posting here payed for this game with their own money instead of mommy giving it to them so, yeah, when to cash people are not going to be all too happy about it.
343i’s lack to tlak to the community has probably caused the constant topic making of one topic. Just so they might get heard. Since they never even look at their forum, and leave it to the mods.
This use to be a nice comunity, before Halo 4’s release. The commujnity’s behvior is mostly caused by the faults of the game.
