Worst things in infinte

THE BAD

BTB. As it currently stand is no good for many reasons I am about to list….

Sidekick. I’d rather just never use it it promotes random gunplay not good

Radar. I mean this is just pathetic

Weapon damage. Like am I shooting paper bullets ?

Bloom. Also very pathetic

Random weapon rack spawn swaps ? Why?

Outlines. You can spot enemies to easily with all this bright hud goo all over the map

Vehicle spawns are also random at times not good….

Ranking system is too easy not enough reward

Drop wall. Absolutely useless

Getting shot behind walls. It’s become too common not sure if it’s server issue

Melees. The lunge range is very poor not sure if this a bug… also melees are to quick in certain situations

The UI why do I have to hit play every time to enter a match ? It should do that automatically

Lack of stats what happened to who killed you killed most

Armor unlocks. I’m mean once again absolutely pathetic 343…

Not enough modes/playlists. But I’m sure y’all are over there working on that……

THE GOOD

Ranked plays well with Brs but that playlist should have its own HCS playlist for people with good communication ranked and social should have a useful instead of the useless radar currently in place….

Some maps play well.
IMO I’d rank them Aquarius. Behemoth. Live fire. Streets. Bazaar. Recharge.
The BTB maps are a mess but I would say that high power is decent….

The shields are interesting to say the least not sure if they are better than the old system but they are similar and seem to have purpose to them changing shield colors is cool but not when enemies can see you more easily….

The movement feels good like H5 also feel like the aim is improved from H5 still not as crisp as H2/H3 but close, but things like bloom and lowered aim assist seem to negate this at times…

The looks of the armor art style and player models were done very well in this game huge step up from past 343 iterations….

My problems with halo infinite thus far, (excluding the progression).

  1. Framerate on last gen. I could not play the game for more than an hour without getting a headache. It’s BAD.

  2. Sweatiness. I live for the competition in halo. But this game is like a repeat of halo 5. I can’t get on and play for fun even on btb, which is a major issue. This is due to a couple of things but the majority are excessive bloom, tiny reticles, and a crazy base movement speed (which I actually enjoy, but is too much given bloom+the reticles). 343 needs to stop taking the halo pro’s words as law, it is too conflicting with actual enjoyment and takes away from the game.

  3. Randomness: Weapon, vehicle, and equipment randomness is terrible. It makes the game so much more frustrating than it has to be.

  4. Equipment. This goes back more towards the sweaty aspect more than anything else. I feel like equipment is too watered down. It should be quality over quantity, instead 343 has made equipment highly available at the cost of lowering their overall impact. The dropwall is useful but not long lasting or indestructible like bubble shield. The scan dart is you typical “see through walls” gimmick, nothing new here. The repulsor is fun but is too niche and not impactful. the The grapplehook is the only exception and even it is used quickly.

  5. Weapons. 343’s forced emphasis on weapons has actually been a negative in this game. (Going back to the sweatiness aspect). None of the weapons are particularly fun or satisfying to use either. The only ones I am a fan of are the skewer and gravity hammer. Everything else is honestly rather lame.

I have to admit that my time with the game was limited. I’m on vacation now and I wish I could play more, i only got to experience one day of it. I’ll have to see more when i get back.

I mean I agree with you on most of this stuff I’m hoping come to December 8th there are changes that could take place, but I can only dream at this point…
