First, I am enjoying Halo 5. I have played them all from the Halo CE and think that 343 is moving in the right direction here.
My issue is that after 18 hours of gameplay… I have participated in a total of 5 or 6 actual close matches. They always seem to be a blowout. Why do you place 4 players with -KDA together, against a team with all positive stats? It’s annoying. It’s not even fun being on the winning side, let alone the loosing side!
I have had the same experience. I always tend to either end up on a team that is really good, and the other team is not so good, in which case its an easy win for us, or I end up on a team that is not very good (not to say I am all that great either), in which case we get stomped. I just want to be on a team that is around my skill level, against a team around our skill level. I miss those close matches where I at least have a chance to get a kill.
Probably no secret here, but if your pretty good at the beta and you bring a friend with you who is equally good, matches can be easier even with two inexperienced players.
