Completely feel your pain OP. The ranks are unbelievably broken on this game. Myself, I’m always getting matched against Onyx players as Platinum. Its absolutely unfair and ridiculous. I think it might be an indicator of a low population if it can’t find me evenly ranked games. It also makes playing frustrating.

If the other unranked had never played arena (or it’s been a long time ) it could pull them down pretty far. Who were your other teammates?

It was him, another Gold player, and two unranked players. They matched against an Onyx, Diamond 5, Diamond 2, and Platinum 2.

In the May season, I played against diamond and onyx-level players in nearly every placement match. I won eight out of ten times, but the game still forced me into platinum 1.
Ranks are a joke in the MCC and even Halo 5 now.

unfortunately the pervious seasons ranking also determines where you fall after your 10 placement matches

Maybe your team had diamonds too? And change matchmaking search to focus :slight_smile:
