Wasn’t sure if this guy was trolling or just a dbag, but he was teamkilling everyone and trashtalked. My dog barked and he just went off, making every word profanity. I was like “wut”.
Then he spammed my inbox after the game.

But it was Shotty Snipers! We didn’t want to play it, so we hid in different buildings all around the map! Including by the Shotgun spawn, where the guy jumped over, and DIDN’T SEE US!
worst one I’ve encountered was a guy who didn’t leave the spawn. He ran around jumping in front of vehicles as someone would start to move. He would destroy them as best he could without betraying a teammate…and he would stand in front of the cannon on the wraith so it couldn’t be fired without killing him.
He did this all match.
When there were no vehicles he would throw nades near teammates who were in combat to help weaken us.
That happened around 4 pm today. It’s not the first time I’ve seen this behavior by any means, but this person was exceptionally skilled in the art of being annoying.
Can you quickly define a troll for me in relation to Reach?
One troll type I encounter a lot is one that Plasma Overcharges his teammates vehicles as their trying to leave the base in that map on BTB Heavies I think is called Asphalt. No one could get a vehicle two inches because he kept overcharging us and then a buddy joined in to help him.
Well, I haven’t run into trolls, but I’ve run into plenty of hackers, especially on the Halo 1 PC demo. Killing everyone on the opposite team.
Once I was playing Grifball on Reach and there was a guy that was literally invincible. Everyone was hitting him and he wouldn’t die. Anyone who got near him died without him even moving. Then he used a jetpack.
Not sure if a troll, but this guy was awful.
Team Snipers, everyone on my team quit except one guy (so basically a 2 guys Vs. 100 badguys story, XD)
This guy and I beat these guys, all they did was hide and shuffle as a group. I may have gotten two kills with the Sniper, but I suck with it, so I used the Pistol mostly. This badguy misses his assassination TWICE, and I turn around and pummel him. Then his friends show up, and I killed them. Somewhere else, this guy finally gets the drop on me, kills me, then starts Tbagging. But I continued dashing around, ducking and dodging, backflips and all that, Pistol a blazzn’! We win, and this guy sends me this voice message: “It’s called Team Snipers, use the freaking SNIPER RIFLE!” He called me something, I forget what, but he was in the wrong, right? The Pistol is there, and I won the match. I’m sorry I suck with the Sniper, I was better with it in H3.
Two stories. Judge if they’re trolls or not:
Story 1- In BTB match on Red Team, Hemorhage:
Game starts, I grab Sniper and go through teleporter, run to cave over Blue Base with some guy on my team. I look out over Blue Base, take aim on a Revenant, fire, and…teammate runs in front of me. Shot hits his head and insta-kills. “Aw crap, sorry man” I say (no mic, though). Take aim again, and…
… screen goes black.
…
“You booted me you dumb ****”. My only betrayal of the match. Send him a text message, text convo as follows:
Me: What the frick, you ran in front of me!
Him (in my mind, nasal 12 year-old’s voice): I was going to get Perfection and you shot me
M: It was your fault, idiot!
H: I already had the medal and you killed me
I got booted literally almost a minute in. You don’t get 15 kills in less than 1 minute on BTB Hemorhage
Story 2- Invasion Slayer, Elites (blue team), Boneyard.
Team is down by dozens of points (like, 2 to 30-something, if I remember). We manage to capture a point and I grab a banshee. I then proceed to open up a can of whoop-*** on the other team, getting dozens of kills, wrenching the lead from red-team’s hands, until we were at around 79 kills or so, leading by around 20. I got shot down twice throughout, but I simply grabbed another banshee and got back to it; it was one of the most awesome games in my career. Near the end, with little more than a minute left, I took a shot at some guy with a banshe-bomb, when a teammate ran into the blast, killing him.
Once again, black screen.
Find the game on Waypoint’s records after it was over. I had 44 kills, the second highest on my team had only 18. In the minute before the game ended, the other team got around 20 or so kills, my team only got 3. I was the sole reason they didn’t lose the match, and some butthurt noob kicked me after my first betrayal of the match.
They really need to fix the betrayal system -_-

a player that is so annoying in a game that if he was in the same room as you, you would punch him hard in the nuts.

The guy turned out to be pretty cool too. He sent us a “Well played” message afterwards and we had a chat. He felt pretty dumb when he realized where we were on that last one…There’s a clip in my FS about it where you can see him jump off backwards and then run off.

agreed with the last one:/ i just play ffa so cant get booted 
but yea… kids can be annoying in Reach, yes.

Yeah, the guy was actually pretty cool!
Can’t forget the guy earlier today who helped us out by flying us around in the Falcon to his teammates. Best. Teammate. Ever.

Same goes for Black Hat Hackers. A true Black Hat Hacker will never fully publicly openly admit to being one.
There was a guy who hopped on top of the scorpion so i couldn’t shoot w/o betraying him. Eventually, I took the shot.
