What are your guys thoughts on the worst REQ weapon ever? My personal thought is probably the Storm Rifle Teir 1, I just hate it so much! You almost always die with it and you never get a kill with it. My worst experiances have happens with this horrible weapon. Teir 2 and Teir 3 of the Storm Rifle are not as bad but only the Blissful Slumber have I have sucess with.
My worst vehicale is the mongoose. You are completley expsoed and have no weapons. Even if you are riding in the back it sucks.
What are your guys thoughts? Do you agree with me or disagree?
Well, I absolutely hate the plasma pistol. I can see why you hate the storm rifle, but I find it very handy in Warzone, especially if you need a weapon right there and now. The plasma pistol is just so…I have no words that describe it besides the fact that I absolutely hate it.
As far as vehicles go, I agree completely. Mongooses and Gungoose alike, you are completely exposed to the enemy. The fact that you have a dual grenade launcher doesn’t mean anything when you have a sniper anticipating your driving skills.
Are we all just going to forget that the Plasma Turret exists…?
The worst vehicle is probably the Mongoose, but that’s only because it doesn’t do anything that other vehicles can’t already do. Granted, it is cheap to call in for Warzone, but there’s not really any reason to pick it over a Scout Warthog.
It’s sad to see the Mongoose and Gungoose getting so much hate. Sure the Mongoose is no killing machine, but isn’t it fun to have a goofy little 4-wheeler with a honkable horn? I very much welcome a vehicle like that in Halo. And I would say it’s also quite useful for CTF and Assault gametypes. As for the Gungoose, what’s not to like about infinite frag grenades? Some of the most fun I’ve ever had in Halo 5 has been in a Gungoose passenger seat with grenadier armor mod equipped while my buddy drives me around. I honestly think giving Gungoose passengers unlimited frag grenades was one of the best innovations 343 has brought to Halo, and I hope they keep it in Halo 6.
I’m not sure what the worst req weapon is, because I mostly play a mode in which they’re all useless (i.e. Warzone Firefight), but I would have to say the Mantis could use a buff. Outside of the Oni and Hannibal variants, its weapons are painfully inaccurate for a vehicle of its req level.

Speaking of which, I have a confession to make. My friend and I did some Warzone last night and completely decimated with a mongoose and later a gungoose (him riding on the back). It was amazingly funny and epic at the same time.

The bounce is annoying for direct firefights but is conversely very good for base capture or core defense tactics. Being able to bounce grenades into an enemy doorway before exploding increases the utility of a gungoose during sieges and assists infantry storming that base.
I wish we could trade Reqs because I would love to have all the plasma pistols that folks don’t want. The lock-on range exceeds the hydra launcher, the shield drain gives you faster time-to-kill in most firefights, and it is a level 2-4 Req that can disable a level 6 aircraft for your teammates to hijack and use for your team.

Yeah, it’s more or less a score-printing machine in Covvie waves. Even Promethean waves, while less ‘easy’, are still disgustingly easy unless you flip it. Heroic, Legendary, Mythic; Doesn’t matter, it gives oodles of points.
Of course, boss waves aren’t really too kind to it, but that’s when you take an Ultra or Zealot Ghost.
EDIT; I’d say worst Vehicle REQ is indeed the sad little Mongeese. I can’t find much of a way to justify usage outside of CTF in gameplay. As for worst weapon, the Plasma Turret. What the hell does it even do beyond suck and get me killed.
I think the worst req weapon is the river of light. Becouse of how many bolts it shots you can’t shot and duck behind cover without comiting suicide. I think the worse req vehicle is the gungoose it is sad. Ghosts reqier the same req level but are way better

River of light has its uses. Granted, not many, but there are far worse guns.
