Worst... level... Ever....

What do you believe to be the worst level in halo history? My pick is The Library.

Nah, The Library was okay,

Assault on the Control Room and Two Betrayals.

Bane of my -Yoinking!- existence.

Aren’t those pretty much the same level in reverse?

Yes. And exactly why I hate them both.

Gravemind on Legendary. It isnt also called Gravegrind for no reason.

Cortana on Legendary (with Famine on because my friend is a jerk)

Gravemind. I wasn’t prepared for the hunters during the bridge(?) segment, it took a lot of creativity and a lot of deaths to finally kill them.

The High Charity/Flood levels in Halo 2 and 3!

The walking levels in Halo 5

All the levels people say they hate are actually good levels. Nobody’s toalking about the actual bad levels. Halo 4 and 5 have a pluthra of bad levels

Halo 4: Infinity, Lockdown
Halo 5: Every level on meridian, the breaking, guardian.

The breaking is my least favorite, not only is it incredibly linear. But it is so incredibly boring and aggravating. And that triple warden battle was more unbalanced than halo 4’s multiplayer.

I am sure there is worse but the library came to mind first.

Cortana, Halo 3

This is genuinely my favorite Halo level of all time. I can’t fathom how anyone could have anything against it.

After much thought, Cortana would probably be the worst level that I can name. There might be some in Halo 4 and 5, but I don’t remember those too well because of my general disinterest in the games. Cortana is mostly dulled by the fact that the Halo 3 Flood really wasn’t the best iteration of the enemy, so the Halo 3 Flood-only levels weren’t too exciting. It doesn’t help that Cortana is kind of cramped in some sections, which I think really doesn’t work with the Flood. I mean, despite the fact that many people dislike Library, the level is actually pretty well designed, and part of that are the large open spaces which allow the game to throw a lot of enemies at the player while still giving the player time and room to fight. Cortana has none of that luxury.

Worst is bit much; I usually skip the Library and Cortana on replays though.

I say The Breaking, I don’t like how they just made a long line to walk for the entire level. Sure there were other bad levels but even then they had better level design(Except Halo 2 Gravemind that’s one sucks on Legendary).

Halo 2’s High Charity, Halo 5’s Guardian and the Breaking, although Evacuation and Unconfirmed are also pretty high up

Cortana…that level was a -Yoink-

I found the library to be so boring. Not hard but 40 minutes of going through the same rooms and killing flood over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. You get the point.

Im surprised you didn’t pick Dawn for Halo 4,for me the worst level in series if we don’t count talking levels in Halo 5.
