I love halo music, but sometimes they can be pretty bad…
Some of them serve the purpose to only add tension to a certain part of the game (Like the flood music).
But some are just bad…
Mine is the rock track when you fly the heretic banshee in Halo 2
The Halo 2 anniversary track Is different and I actually like that one.
What is your least favorite?
[NO INSULT TOWARDS THE CREATORS OF THE MUSIC, IT IS JUST A MATTER OF OPINION]
Huh… I love all the music. I’d say my lowest least liked is the flood sound track, not because it doesn’t sound good but it gives me the creeps… very well done.

The only good flood music that I like is the CE flood track, sounds catchy and creepy
If I have to pick on one track, I choose The Trials. Out of context, it’s nothing special, pretty representative of the rest of the soundtrack as a whole, lots of overpowering brass, really aggressive, bombastic style, etc. Those are some of the general qualities of the Halo 5 soundtrack I’m not a fan of. But the reason I’m picking on The Trials is of course because it’s a rendition of the Halo track, the most iconic piece of Halo music. Now, I don’t actually care how “I C O N I C” it is, but it does mean that there are three versions of it that I quite like. Three versions I can compare to and reflect on exactly what I don’t like about the Halo 5 soundtrack. I can hear the other tracks from Halo 5 and not think much of them because those are the only versions. But hearing an interpretation of something I like in that style just makes me sad, so I don’t like listening The Trials.
I absolutely love “Breaking the Covenant” (that’s the song in H2 you’re describing). I listen to it when I work out actually. But hey, different strokes for different folks, so no worries.
My answer to your question will be fairly boring: most of H5’s soundtrack. None of it is actually bad to me. It’s all just very generic. Very little of it felt unique to Halo, or even just unique in general.

I love breaking the covenant, Halo 2 Anniversary had much better music than OG Halo 2
I can’t think of an individual track off the top of my head, but I always felt that Halo 5’s soundtrack overall was uninspired. It was like the backlash from 4 made them jump back to a carbon copy of the original music instead of expanding on it. I personally loved some of the forerunner music in 4, and wish they had brought that together with the legacy music.
For me it would be Halo 5 music it kind of sounds generic and didn’t have a Halo vibe for me but, Halo Infinite music sounds like its going back on the right track
I don’t know the name of the song, but it plays during the main firefight on the last level of Halo 4, and it just sounds so generic and silly, which I feel is a problem with much of Halo 4’s soundtrack. If you play the level you’ll know what I’m talking about.
