Worst Halo game to date?

I am actually starting to enjoy it. Halo 4 was by far the worst Halo I’ve played to date. Halo 5 was a nice step back from the previous being all over the place. Is it the best Halo? Nope. But calling it the worst is a bit of a stretch.

I wouldn’t say Halo 5 is the best game in the series, but it’s not the worst either. I’m not one to heavily criticize things, but I believe that the campaign was a bit lacking… A few of the missions were really short, and the story was just build up for something that never came (unless it comes in Halo 6) and didn’t have much character development. In Halo 4 we got to see Chief trying to find his humanity. In this one? Eh… We only saw a tiny bit of development. As for the multiplayer, I enjoy it. It is pretty competitive, but I try to see past that. Just my thoughts.

“People don’t realize that the game has to change and evolve along with the technology of the time and as well as in the halo timeline. I’ve read the books, I watched the world championship series, all the halo channel series. So what am I missing that makes me a true halo fan, because i’m dying to find out from someone who knows.” What makes you think that? If anything we’ve seen the fall of halo coincide with this evolution.

I personally like this halo not like the original ones however. Halo 2 and Halo Reach are masterpieces.

Halo 5 is pretty descent shooter game, right now the arena modes are lacking because lack of game modes and maps, but several other games this year are also lacking. I feel Reach was a pretty good game even with it being hammered with mods however, with it sort set this new kind of halo in tone, armor abilities and how much can we change the already made characters in the game. I wish Bungie continued making halos after Reach, i would like to see where they would have taken the next Halo.

On the other hand I think 343 did do good job making Halo 5.

I think it is sort of funny is that fans seem to hate the halo that just released, constantly complaining and vaguely saying what they want. I remember back during the Reach days fans were hating on that game, saying that Bungie is the worst and that they changed the game to much from the previous Halo titles.

si a mi tambien me gusta mucho el juego dos los juegos de la franquicia halo tambien

I’d say Halo 2 because it keeps switching between Arby and Chief and I just need more loyalty from games I date

Halo Wars is the worst IMHO

I love this game. Beat since halo 3

Completely noidea what 343 was thinking but I honestly think it’s the worst one by far. Looks and feels like cod. Would rather them make Halo feel like H2 or H3.

i dont think H5 is worst
but i personally hated H4 tho

Does anyone else think this is the most worn out over played question posted on Halo waypoint lolol?

Also to entertain your overplayed question. The answer is no. No it is definitely not.

I think that Halo has evolved and that letting it stay the same wouldn’t be beneficial to anyone.

So you’re the type of gamer that can play in a very competitive environment that is highly geared towards stats, performance and winning (esports) and still have fun. While there’s nothing wrong with that, there are plenty of people who just don’t have fun in that kind of environment. Whether you or they, either one, actually are a competitive player isn’t relevant in regards to the ability to have fun in that environment. Not to sound rude, but even if you were told the reasons why they can’t have fun… it won’t fix anything.

I find nothing hard to understand about that. In fact, I understand that you can have fun every time you play, despite the fact that I don’t enjoy the blatant over emphasis on competition. I find nothing wrong with the fact that you can enjoy that environment… what I do find wrong is the fact that (speaking for myself at least) former Halo titles seemed to have enough of the fun aspect to balance out the more competitive games/types. This Halo does not… and I see absolutely no sound reasoning why it should not or could not, despite the dozens of excuses I’ve seen for why it does not.

I think Halo 4 is the worst Halo to date because the multiplayer was no fun.

That’s a pretty accurate assessment I believe. In my book one of the best improvements they could add would be split screen, or Lan play for campaign and custom games.

campaign wise this is the worst halo. At least halo 4 had a good campaign and story, Halo 5’s makes me sad because I was looking forward to it.

i realy dont like it that u can get ranks …

Halo 5 is just too fast paced at times and it really annoys the living crap out of a lot of people. Halo 4 should be the only way to speed up halo not all this thruster pack and spartan charge stuff. It is too advanced and halo 5 should have kept the same format for sprinting and etc. from halo 4
