True I agree H4 had a lot of bad stuff about it. But I do respect H4 for it’s campaign. I feel like it’s story was quite compelling and also added a new alien race which was cool. Multiplayer is definitely where it had its setbacks though as you stated.

That’s actually true. If you’re good at the game it is definitely fun. Otherwise it’s just infuriating. That said, I LOVE Halo 5. It’s a stellar game!
No. I love it! Bringing halo back to its competitive roots. Hell, and has a lot of room for improvement, but that doesn’t mean it sucks. I’d give that roll to halo 4. It’s a good game, just not a good halo game.

heres my 3 most annoying H5 aspects
1-spartan charge is completely broken… “hey i know, lets give everyone a sword. that’ll be fun”
2-tiny radar…wtf why not? its not like you need to know where anyone is. just run around and you’ll eventually get a kill right?(refer to number 1)
3-AR starts…wheeee! hold RT, walk foreward, tap RB (people used to make fun of theese guys…and relentlessly -Yoink!- them for trying this)

I think the maps are horrible because you look one way you get shot shot from somewhere else. There is a million forks in the road in each map. Halo 5 need more game modes too. There are 3 different game modes for slayer. There aren’t modes like infected, snipers, king of the hill, rocket race, vip, oddball, assault, and juggernaut. Halo 3 had a whole bunch of them. Even for ranked play. In my opinion the only map that is good would be truth/heretic. The best maps were the simple ones like guardian, valhalla, sandtrap, blackout, cold storage, foundry, and last resort.
I really like 5, yea it has its bad moments but overall it’s a lot of fun.
Definitely not the worst Halo to date imo, I’m not sure what Halo is, but not 5.

So people can’t possess an opinion separate from your own? Perhaps you should get over yourself. A large amount of the community was disappointed with Halo 5. Petty insults, immaturity and comparing us to cancer isn’t going to change that. And calling people cancer for not liking a game undermines a very serious life-limiting disease.
I am not a competitive level gamer what so ever, however what the other Halo’s did to cater to my demographic was provide PVE MP modes. With a serious lack of firefight from day 1 and a lack of campaign matchmaking (with none to be released in the future), I felt alienated from the title and forced to not play the game.
I understand most people who use this forum are probably high level players who are successful in competitive MP modes, but i just don’t feel 343 thought to include modes for a more casual gamer.
What i would love to see for the future of Halo:
- Forged firefight maps
- A fileshare service where players can get lost in pages and pages of gametype, maps, pictures, videos and maybe even player created forge pieces (buildings, vehicles, etc)
- campaign matchmaking!!!
Halo 5 could have been so much more. I just hope 343 get a new writer for Halo 6.
In regards to the soundtrack, definitely keep the same composer cause that was one of the best halo soundtracks ever

You’re being quite melodramatic. You people all seem to hate the new Halos. Same treatment Halo 2 got, until Halo 3 came out. Then Halo 3 got flak, and Halo 2 was a godsend. Same with Reach, onto 4, and now 5. I’m already seeing people talk about how “good” Halo 4 was. Interesting to see the pattern repeat, once again.
its really REALLY competitive. and I feel like I’m playing against better players or I’m getting worse. the gameplay is awesome, and the sandbox design is spot on, but the lack of permanent social slayer and constant focus on getting better at the game instead of relaxing and playing halo definitely turns me off. I love the game and will continue to play it, I just think they need to chill out with all the ranking focus, and skill based matchmaking in what little of a social playlist we have. its fun, but you have to go tryhard to experience that fun and I think that’s its one crucial flaw.

if they copy pasted h2 anniversary multiplayer for halo 6 with more improvements I wouldn’t care. I don’t like the fast paced stuff, too similar to other shooters.
Oh, yeah. Adding another skin for Mark V Alpha is the worst decision they’ve made thus far.
I really want to see the Mark V Anniversary armor from Halo 4’s Infinity Armor Pack (Champions DLC Bundle) make a comeback. Better yet, give it to everyone who bought the Arena REQ Bundle in place of the Mark V Alpha.

Sure, I am well aware that literally anyone can post in these threads. This is obvious although the structure and the basis of this thread is simply not there.

Zero input, nothing to say. This entire thread is based off a troll. If you think this is the worst Halo available you have a few options. You can opt out and find a new game. You can give constructive criticism for the community to discuss and grow on.
