This Community is the most toxic, uninformed, pathetic community I have ever seen in my life. One Million times worse than Destiny,
Im not saying it because of the complaints. Well… actually I am but only because of some of them.
It is ok to complain about the lack of splitscreen before the game releases. It is not ok to come here complain about the lack of it after you bought the game when we KNEW 6 Months before release that that would be the case. Im not gonna wait till Street Fighter V releases to go to their forums and say ‘‘Hey Capcom this game just released and I realize there is no Xbox version?? WTF, bought my xbox for nothing’’. I know its not gonna be on Xbox, I knew it for over a year now and yes I was sad about it but what can I do but accept it?
Forge maps don’t count as real maps. I agree. But we knew since the Beta that Orion and Pegasus were Forge maps, we knew the first BTB maps would be forge maps and there is nothing wrong with forge maps as long as they aren’t replacing real maps and Frankie already said we are gonna get ‘‘real’’ BTB maps. Don’t complain now if you knew it before. You can still make a Thread with constructive critique but what I see around here is just childish and ridiculous.
Most of you are like Angry Joe and only see one part of the spectrum instead of seeing the pros and cons. For Instance:
Do REQ’s suck? Yes they do. All Microtransactions do. Of course you can say it like that and most people will agree but look at the pros. Because of people buying REQ’s we are gonna get all DLC for free which isn’t even the good part about it for me because I don’t have a problem paying for DLC or a Season Pass but most of you do have a problem with that at because of you that don’t wanna pay for DLC, you are the reason why I prefer the REQ’s instead of paid DLC. When a DLC drops that is not free you have 2 choices. Either you keep playing the same playlists without ever seeing the new maps because you will never find a game where everyone hast the new maps or you play a DLC playlist where you play the same 3-4 maps over and over again and that sucks more than anything.
Like I said above Forge maps shouldn’t replace ‘‘real maps’’ but look at the other side. We all wann play BTB ASAP. Is it so wrong to have some Forge maps to play on next week and then later get ‘‘real’’ maps added to it? I prefer to play now on Forge maps now and having ‘‘real’’ maps added later instead of waiting 2-4 Months till I can play BTB.
Lack of Content. Now this one is personal preference but I think some of you aren’t thinking about whats ‘‘good’’ about it. I can only speak for myself but I prefer having Halo 5 now in its current state and having content added every month for the next 6 months instead of waiting 6 months to have the full package. Not only can I have fun now already and have something to look forward to every month but in 6 months the game will be much better that it would be if released 6 months from now. They are gonna fix stuff, balance stuff out and in general look at our feedback (I hope).
Just try to give constructive critique instead of ranting about everything. Complain about the stuff that its really worth complaining like the awful story, not seeing the medals after a match, the awful colors available for your Spartan etc. etc. etc. There is a lot of stuff worth complaining in Halo 5.
I just think it’s sad that 343i employees go to other forums post stuff instead of posting it on the official forums but I totally understand the reason why they do it.
Most of us here have been playing halo for 15 years. When we see one of our childhood game series start taking a fall, it gets aggravating. Why can they not get the game back to where it was? Why do they keep changing the core, or keep taking things away? That’s why we harshly criticize. It’s so maybe the next one will get better. All we can do is maintain to some hope that halo will come back, as cheesy as that sounds.
So…you’re saying that you’ve only been to this and the destiny community? lol.
This community has two different camps of complaints: Stupid people who complain about things that aren’t really problems. And people who tell it like it is for obvious screwed up features in our halo game.
Wanna try the worst community and player base in existence? World of Tanks: Xbox edition. You will have an appreciation for every other player base afterwards I promise.

There is TONS of constructive critique on here. Start reading actual posts and not just flamebait.

No im not saying that. Every game that I play for a longer period of time (multiplayer) I will be active in the forums.
I agree with a lot of your points. We just live in a society where entitlement is at an all time high and everyone wants everything right at this very second. I personally enjoy the game, and I look forward to getting more content each month. That being said, I do want real BTB maps and I do want 343 to listen to our feedback. The game has been out just over a week, so I’m not going to condemn the devs just yet. Lots of time left for them to address things.

That never stopped Bungie from posting on their own forums at the height of Halo 3, and that community was no different.

I don’t remember it being ever that bad, not even when reach was out. There was a rant about armor lock and DMR bloom everyday but it wasn’t anything nearly as bad.

I played WoW before twitter existed. The forums were never that bad, at least when I played.

The thread title is always the thesis of a post and the first statement made by said post. Yours is Worst Community to Ever Exist.
