Who has some good/terrible stories of being betrayed by a teammate?
My most recent one was last night, for which I still want revenge. I was in the hallway behind the armory on ARC, just got above the doorway with a Corpsemaker, and my teammate decided “I’m taking that hammer”.
So, what did he do? He pushed me into enemy Answer fire and looted my corpse(maker).
Guess des you could say he was a puts on sunglasses
Corpsemaker?
Thanks to that jerk, the guy with The Answer, along with his henchmen, managed to take the armory and we lost what would’ve been a win due to core meltdown.

I was in a team slayer match in the early days of Reach on the tiny map above the forge world garage and three of the guys on the other team quit. I realize what has happened and start tooling around the map, jumping playing with the new jet pack etc.
The guy plays hide and seek with my other teammates and makes a decent showing, but the spawns were in the open so that didn’t last long. After a minute or two, I see them teabagging the kid. SO I betray one of them. After all the kid is by himself there isn’t any reason for my teammates to act like -Yoinks!-.
The guy I betrayed starts cussing up storm through his mic at me. So I team up with the lone kid, I shield strip, he pops them. They start betraying me, until I boot 1, then 2, and then finally Mr. Microphone himself. So I walk over to the kid and do a -Yoink!- in celebration and he blasts me in the face with a shotgun. You can’t be nice to some people
Me and one guy we standing on a sniper pad on Viking waiting for the sniper to spawn. It spawns and I got it and he immediately betrayed me. This obviously pissed me off so I betrayed him back for it. This cycle continued once or twice more until I finally decided to just let the -Yoink- have it. He then turned in his mic and started calling me out for betraying him when he did it first! I also had the most kills in the game at this time
The day of The ghosts of meridian update, I spawned a Tartarus’ Gavel for the first time ever. I got 2 or 3 kills with it when a teammate in a ghost splattered me just to take it.
I once accidentally splatter a teammate, my teammate had a nornfang. My controller was broken, so it had a mind of it’s own, then I changed to a better controller, but I picked up the nornfang, went to home base, messaged him sorry & told him I have his gun for him, he forgave me, so we good, I even offered to give him one of my nornfangs in the next round, he didn’t want it.
While I don’t have an upsetting betrayal story currently (it happens to me as well, a week ago some guy harassed me for an entire match last week because I had an Nornfang sniping from the top of the Garage on Noctus)…but I was riding as the gunner as on my brothers ONI Warthog yesterday (on Noctus again) and we were trying to take down both 4:00 Ghosts with another pair in a Warhog…long story short some guy came out of home base with the same goal and literally got pancaked by the two Hog’s. Funniest thing I’d seen all month in Halo, I ALMOST didn’t even feel bad for the guy. Get hit by one Warthog…shame on them. Get hit by two simultaneously…you need to watch where you’re walking.

Those are the worst kinds of players. I know if i see my teammate who betrayed me again, I’m ramming him with a Scorpion tank. Or a Ghost. Or perhaps pushing him into enemy fire to loot his corpse. Poetic justice and all.
I was playing reach heavies, and was slaughtering the enemy team, top of the scoreboard but teammates kept jumping into the line of fire, so at strike 3 they kicked me. 
I was in a wraith.
My friend splattered me with a Phaeton. Yes. That is possible. He teleported, and phased into me. My body literally did the whole “super stretch” thing.
Back when BTB was first released, I was playing with a bunch of squeakers, and while I was taking the flag, and friendly warthog came and ran me over. That could have won the match, but needless to say we lost >:(
I was in the middle of a CTF match on Antifreeze and I went to the center of the map to get active camo. I like to pair it up with the splinter turret nearby because you stay invisible even when firing, it’s a deadly combo. Of course, there’s always those entitled -Yoinks!- who will kill you if you take something they wanted to take. What makes this betrayal even more ridiculous is that it was over a powerup, something you can loot from someones body, unlike a gun. His mentality was basically “If I can’t have it, no one can!” So he’d rather kill his teammate than let someone else use what he wanted, even if they would have used active camo so effectively that it would make the difference between a win and a loss.
But I can take comfort in the fact that idiots like him will inevitably get crushed by the banhammer.

That was Halo 3 for me in a nutshell. Get the power up, get betrayed for having the power up, respawn, revenge.
Mine is back on reach here’s how it went.
- My whole team but one guy quits - I decide to go guerilla warfare on them - I start whooping them - Well my teammate runs me over with a ghost Multiple times - I lost a teammate that day - I still won that game!
I hopped back on my Xbox 360, and played halo 4 BTB on ragnarok. As soon as I managed to win the race to the mantis, one of my teammates emp’d me and everybody stuck my with plasma grenades.
Another story would be a while ago in Halo 5 our team had one -Yoink!- who’d follow anyone around who even had a slightly decent weapon, spray them down with his assault rifle and take it.
Getting shot in the head by a teammate on tyrant. We’re both crouching. Then he decides to -Yoink!- my corpse. Like bro I’m on your team nor did I have a good weapon
My buddy was sniping enemies on Warzone when I see a a guy come up behind him and assassinate him.
We were playing breakout paintball in custom games. We were winning 4-0 and I decided the enemy team should at least have one win during the game… so… I shot all my teammates in the back and ran down the middle of the map towards the firing squad.
And I kept betraying Ava, we have a system…
I sure hope he doesn’t find this.
I was sneaking around the enemy in halo 5 when he started the lay down some fire on my teammate! so i gave up my position and jumped on the guy, he had my teammate in the red at this point, but i managed to assassinate him! I had the Oh Snap assassination on. I broke his arm lifted my knife thinking “cool im going to get a sick protector assassination!” just as i was about to land the blow that “teammate” i just saved spartan charges me in the back betraying me then gets him self killed by that same guy. In reach i would save people all the time and the wouldnt betray me, they would just -Yoink!- the enemy i took down with me! But now in 5 im going to let them kill my teammate then assassinate then.

Same thing happened to me, except he dipped his balls in my face twenty times before you could say “Get off of me!”.
