i’m starting to get worried about 343 that was one small video and like more than half of the people that liked halo 4 stopped and now hate it what does this mean for the future? i personally think halo 4 is gonna be pretty damn cool!

Again, there is not that many people who posts on forums, only the minority of halo fans actually post on forums.
The amount of people who will buy the game this Fall VASTLY outnumber the people on this entire forum.
People cancelling pre-orders are overreacting.

shur hope your right because this game has great potencial and it seems to be ruined over ONE trailer that infact was not even a trailer…just revealing some clips…
It’s a common thing to hate on the new guy, so this isn’t anything to be concerned about. Haters just gonna be hatin’ until the next new thing comes by for them to focus their hate on.

haha i know this sounds down right rediculous but i have already paid for halo 4 in full XD haha want to get any special addition that comes out…
Sure people will cancel their pre-orders but it doesn’t mean they will stop checking for new info on Halo 4 then realizing their mistake they would pre-order it again.

Cancelling a pre-order seems a tad overreaction to me… It’s pretty simple for me; if Halo 4 is good then I will buy it. Ta da!
This is nothing less than what I (or probably 343) expected. No doubt there are gonna be haters and people who freak over literally 30 seconds of in-game footage on a game that isn’t even finished yet. From what I’ve experienced people’s most drastic responses come from the first amounts of news that come in, I was literally bouncing off the walls when I saw this ViDoc, some people, however, got the opposite effect. I call them cynical, because how are you gonna base how good a game is gonna be from this little info? Now I’ve calmed down about it a bit and soon the haters will too. However I made a decision to support 343 as they try to keep up this series and I stand by it.

OP: Thank you, you and the people above have also been thanked because it made me relax a bit and i stand by what you said to 343 has proven themselves in my book i was also bouncing off the wall when i saw it…
This trailer shouldn’t have influence anything, but to give the person more hype towards the game. I was kinda scared and disappointed with a few things with the trailer, the biggest would be the scoring system, but im not gonna stop myself from watching future ones and buy the game. Those who said their cancelling their pre orders are just little idiots who are afraid to get destroyed by the BR.

I suppose I am ha ha. 
I am just an optimistic person by nature. However there is one issue that concerns me, there’s some rumor that 343 is making Halo 4 have custom loadouts with weapon selection and abilities. I do believe that this is something, if used incorrectly could send the whole series down the crapper. If 343 is doing this then they are playing with very dangerous territory. 
Well this is how I see it.
When armor abilities were released in Reach
- No one really was like AWEEE DAT SUCKS CANCEL PRE ORDER
- No one knew how they would work
When sprint is in Halo 4
- OMG FLIP -Yoink- WTF HALO SUCKS OMG 343
I made some awful points there. What I’m trying to say is that as a competitive player (not so much on this account) I am extremely glad sprint is in the game. It allows different playing methods, adds different aspects to gametypes such as CTF, Grifball etc.
That being said hopefully the competitive playlists make sure that the game is balanced and do not allow the “abilities” to take away from the competitiveness aspect like it did in reach.
Just my 2 cents though!
