I know 343 had to have upgraded it in some way, but to what extent is unknown. With the reveal of Warzone, I was excited and was curious as to how we could forge them, but then it was revealed that Warzone could not be forged and that excitement was crushed. With Warzone not being forge-able, it pretty much eliminates any Warzone assets being forge-able on other maps, which definitely means no editing ai game logic(which would have been a big addition added to Forge) and the forge maps in the beta showed the same kind of grey blocks that Forge has had sense Reach. I hope I’m worried for nothing, but with out some big additions ( like editing game logic) then all we can hope to see is slight upgrades to forge.
From what we saw in the beta, its been theorized that all blocks have a primary and secondary color, which would add alot of custom options to halo as long as we arent limited to like 8 colors. There is also a day night cycle theory.
And on top of your hopes, I want an all forge maps and gametypes playlist, a skybox version of every multiplayer map, a canvas the size of forge world (or forge world), and 2 or 3 more canvases that have variety.

that is just it though its all speculation, do i believe 343 has good intentions ya, at least the build team do anyway, the programers do, however the UI team, has never had a good track record so far, with the limitations on halo 4s gamemodes and customizable options within gametypes, and in halo mcc with the distasteful non existant filesearch and the over abundant lack of communication and trust in 343s word on the matter, until i see proof of this change, 343’s word cannot be trusted as a whole
I just hope all variants of each of the weapons can be forge-able on other maps. Since it seems that there will be the base, 2 tier two variants, and a mythic variant to most, if not all weapons through the use of req cards, I want to be able to forge them all on my own forge map to see how they look and perform.
They aren’t going to let all the cats out of the bag just yet. The game is pretty much done. Digital preorders can already install it. Only thing they are working on now is fine tuning and minor adjustments for a day one patch and future content. So for the next 4 months I imagine they will slowly leak out additional game details as the release date gets nearer to keep the hype train rolling.
