Working XBOX MCC H2 No Sound Fix (Needs MCC PC)

Full details on the original thread, but in short:

  1. You need MCC PC (XBOX Gamepass Ultimate solved that for me)
  2. Load it up, sign in, then open the Audio Settings and reduce all volumes to zero. Exit and save settings.
  3. Open the audio settings again and increase all volumes to 100%. Exit and save settings.
  4. This probably isn’t needed but I launched Halo 2 to make sure it was working ok on the PC.
  5. Save and Quit MCC PC
  6. Load MCC XBOX and it should load/sync
  7. Start Halo 2 Campaign and the sound should be working

I tried it in that exact order and it’s now working ok for me.
