Keep in mind that this is the first thing I’ve really done regarding video editing/using a capture card.
I’m using an Elgato Game Capture HD with Final Cut Pro X, haha.

Hi man, it’s definitely better than my first attempt at a montage! The thing that makes montages 100% is synchronization of gameplay to the music, for example in the montage I made here - YouTube I edited the shots to be in time with the beat, I also edited out any “faffing about” like spaces between kills for example in yours, you have a lot of footage at the start that doesn’t need to be there. So in short, refine refine refine your clips and stick em to a beat.
