After months of fiddling with Drop Pods since they came out all those moons ago, here we are, finally able to drop Feet First into HELL! I would like to give the appropriate thanks to Raptor086, he took my scripts and made them 1000x better than what they were before and cleaned them up a bit as well as added some simplifying to it all. Also thanks goes to him for doing the overall voice over for the video. I would also love to thank the Halo Spark Forge Network team and my fans/Halo Fans/subscribers for believing in me through this process, it was an incredible journey and finally, the chapter can be finished and the book can be closed… for now.
Letting you guys know that also available for grabs is the map as a template and an example of what it can be used for and the application. You can find that on my fileshare here on Waypoint or by adding me on Xbox (Gamertag MJ Rookie). If you run into the drop pod not being at the start of the match and it had already dropped, don’t panic, there is a way to potentially get around this. First off, for testing purposes, you’ll want to use the reset switch located in the terminal next to the pod door (or wherever you may have placed it). The reason it may not start off where you expect it is because of the nature of the fire and the barrel.
Any questions or comments, you can contact Raptor or myself at our respective gamertags.
Thanks all,
-MJ
And again, I can’t seem to make links clickable. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks
Hope you all can follow it OK. It was tough to get it all out clearly!.. Also, in case anyone was wondering… In application on your maps, just make sure to have a script brain set up to perform the “reset” functions initially so that the drop pods will be ready for use at the beginning of each match.

Couldn’t have said it better myself, Raptor, thank you! Guys, as Raptor said, please be sure to have a Reset brain at the start, otherwise you might get some funky results!

Thank you! Been working on this for a while now and glad to finally get it out there. Thanks for dropping by, Fishy Eats!
Going to post the Halo Waypoint link to the fileshare here. https://goo.gl/qQ8W0i (shortened URL since Halo Waypoint Fileshare links are reaaaally long)
Absolutely amazing. Mucho forge respect.

Thanks man! Glad you like it! Forge is love. Forge is life.
Everyone wanted to know, so here it is! The perspective video of the drop pods! WORKING DROP PODS IN HALO 5! - (FIRST PERSON, PART 2) Halo 5 Forge/Script Tutorial - YouTube You can find it there or on my channel at YT: MJRookieForge. Guys, it’s been great doing this, and I can’t wait to see more maps use drop pods!
Hey guys! Got the update for my Drop pod map done. WHAT WAS FIXED? Simple:
- Made the Drop Pod Reset switch more obvious so players don’t require explanation on where it is located - Made a reset switch for the start of the match unnecessary with the help of a simple scripted Script Brain - Adjusted some scripts for simplification - Changed file location, best to download from Forgehub here (I almost have lazy links guys, hang on for a bit longer!):

If anybody else needs anything, let me know. I will continue to update what needs to be updated. Love you all!
