People on this sight call halo an arcade shooter. What is an arcade shooter? IT confuses me. Is halo meant to be played in an arcade? Please tell me
People also talk about this thing called strafing. What is strafing? I don’t know.
Please tell me

Back in the day there were places called ‘arcades’. Insides these venues, you could spend hours playing tidbits of games over and over again. Halo has the arcade feel because of how it is put together. OTT the jumping, fighting, shooting, etc. It’s like an arcade. especially with an announcer yelling out medals and achievements in-game.
Who called Halo an arcade shooter? Lol.
Strafing is moving left or right without turning in that direction. I.E. sidestepping. A common tactic used in Halo is circle strafing, which uses sticky aim in conjunction with slight readjustments with the aiming stick while sidestepping.

Also, you’re using the wrong word for site.
You used the word “sight” which means vision.
You need to use the word “site” which means location.

thanks
Strafing is moving in a randomized back-and-forth pattern while in a gun battle with an enemy, to attempt to dodge the enemy’s bullets.
