BTB OBJECTIVE!
Seriously! WTF?!
This is just one example, but does anyone else agree that playing 5v5 CTF on Ragnarock is the most God awful experience ever? It just plain sucks. Ragnarock was designed to be played with 16 players.
Anyway, I wait patiently every week for a hint, just a damn hint that 16 player objective will eventually make it to this game; a staple of Halo and every week I continue to be disappointed.
I am getting really irritated that 343 doesn’t even acknowledge this and I see numerous people posting about this issue all the time.
I guaran-damn-tee the population in BTB would double if not triple if objective game types were added.
I am currently standing in line to purchase my ticket to board the hate train because of this. So frustrated.
Sweaty Camo tryhards + Ragnarok + CTF = ZZZZZZZ…
Seriously, every match I play on this map ends in a 0 0 tie or if someone gets lucky a 1 0 win in overtime. BORING.

EXACTLY!
It’s absolutely horrendous.
The lucky part you mentioned usually happens when:
>One team is short of players
or
>A couple players on one team start goofing off allowing the opposing team to nab the flag.
I disagree, at least concerning Capture the Flag on Ragnarok.
The small number of players means that team contribution is even more important. The games generally feel a lot more tense, as there’s more ground to cover with less people.

Both teams sitting in their bases with DMRs and sniper rifles is tense?
Now that Ragnorok CTF isn’t strictly and stupidly first to five I think it plays fine for CTF as long as it’s not that infinity crap, and although matches sometime drag out I don’t think I’ve ever played a 0-0 match and usually both teams score something unless the match starts uneven(which I think is honestly the worst thing about CTF on Ragnorok). But regardless, the point is that BTB needs objective and I think we can all get behind that.

Then apparently the people in your teams were playing it differently to mine. Besides, rushing in, getting a flag and avoiding fire on the way back home is pretty tense.
While I agree with your objective love, I’m a huge CTF/Assault fan, I’m sure this playlist will see the light of day soon enough.
We have just received a Covie carrier load of updates, maps, fixes and all that recently so I’m sure this playlist or variant is getting its due diligence for a “coming soon” appearance.
The only thing I would like to point out is when objective is mixed with slayer gametypes in one playlist that population usually declines, as seen in Halo 3/Reach. It pains me to say this but it has been this way since Halo 3. I spent a lot of time over at B.net championing objective playlists for Halo 2, 3 & Reach. I’ve done the same here at Waypoint.
I know the great folks at 343i will get around to BTB objective, there sure is a good number of members asking for it at the moment, myself and my regular Halo 4 party friends included.

Yes. They don’t need to be mixed. I fully agree.
I never play playlists including both Slayer and Objective games.
Halo 4 should have had BTB Objective from launch though.
Honestly, Halo 4 should have just been set up like Halo 2 and/or 3 as far as ranked and social and playlists.
There was no reason to deviate from what those two games did. It worked great.
I don’t understand why people play BTB in this game. It’s god awful when everyone spawns with mini-snipers
