I just wanted to mention something that has been getting on my nerves lately. First off, I understand that people like to recruit people into their clan, and there is even a form dedicated to it (for the most part), but I really hate it when I see the same user, spam this site with multiple different form posts intended to recruit members into a clan. I know that I myself have posted on this site in attempt of getting some recognition for my (previous) clan, but I do not spam the site with multiple desperation attempts daily.
For those of you who are on this site trying to recruit for a clan, please hear me out for just a bit longer.
I have been part of maybe 3 or 4 clans, and for the past 2 months, have been part of one of, if not the largest clan on Reach. I know that the best/easiest way to find people to join you, is by going into matchmaking games, (for us it is usually BTB) and talking to people, to find people that are willing to join.
I am simply asking for those who use this site for spamming their clan, to please stop. I respect that you are trying to start your own clan, but Halo Waypoint is not the place to try and recruit people.

Well I think he was referring to people that are breaking the forums rules and making multiple recruitment threads instead of following the rules. Also he is probably addressing people who do not even update their thread with any relevant information and just simply bump the post which if I recall is also not on par with the rules.

Well it all depends do you just make a post that says bump or do you have a post that has something to update your post with? I think that is the difference as par the forum rules.

but the RECRUIT section of halo waypoint is exactly the place to do this…

let me rephrase that then. Halo Waypoint is not the best place to recruit members, so there is no point in spamming the site.
