Alright (sorry for being disrespectful this is just extremely frustrating) anyways it all started when i got the email. I followed every step and took my time with it to make sure i was doing it right. logged into the right account and downloaded it from the insider app which then the “app” directed me to the Microsoft store. Then, I hit the install button at first it started to download but then got a error message then it stopped. Then i stooped the download then tried installing it again then have gotten a message saying “try again later something happens on our end” message. I have tried restarting my pc and store multiple times but nothing works. I am also on the newest OS for Microsoft and meet all the requirements. Lastly this massage has been poping up for about a week and hasn’t been resolved. After hearing that the flight was extended i am more motivated in trying to fix it rather then wait for full release again sorry for the hostile attitude.

Had some luck with on Discord and with others on the forums. Try the following steps:

  • Make sure your windows updates are fully up to date - Make sure your windows store app has all updates installed - Restart your machine and try againIf you’ve done that or that fails, try resetting your store cache

  • Right Click on the Start Button, then - Click on Run. - Enter WSReset.exe and - Click on OK or hit your Enter Key - It can take a minute, maybe more for this to run but once the DOS window closes and the store opens: - Restart your computerAfter that try reinstalling the game again
    If that fails, here are some further steps that can be taken. This may work, although it could take some time:

  • Click start and type cmd - Right click on the icon in search results and chose “run as administrator” - Click OK / Yes to the prompt - Type “sfc /scannow” (without the quotes, space is important) - Press enter and let that run, it will let you know when it’s done / if it finds anything - Restart your computer and try again
