Since this new update when I click on multiplayer and find game a messages pops up saying:
“MULTIPLAYER IS NOT ALLOWED
The multiplayer feature is blocked due to your Xbox LIVE settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox LIVE account and your family settings are turned off”
I have changed nothing on my settings and never have family settings on and was playing halo multiplayer fine (except for the realllllyy long wait time) before this update. Before I started the game it said Halo needs an update then instantly after said it’s done. Playing all other games I have fine on multiplayer.
From the UK btw just in case it’s something to do with UK servers or whatever it is that runs this game.
Also having this lag problem on co op campaign. When I am hosting it’s fine but my friend lags about from time to time and had a delay. Same situation when he is hosting. I have read about this problem but is everyone having this issue or just a few and will it be fixed?
I am having the same issue overe in the states ( Florida to be more specific) and none of the suggestions previously posted on other threads work for me. throughout the week my matchmaking as been slow like everyone else’s but now after downloading their patch I can’t even begin to search for a game due to the family settings restriction messages.
Just dissapointed and frustrated beyond belief.
Me and my friends also have the coop lag problem…it makes it pretty much unplayable
Honestly I don get why people can still justify this game, it’s pretty obvious that many people deserve a refund since they can’t even play the game.
It kinda pisses me off now that MCC is turning out to be an unplayable game. Patience has ran out after 5 days.
I have the same issues. I tried going through everything. Still the same message. 343i don’t make me work for you. Get this fixed.
I’m experiencing this issue too. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes and nothing has changed. Whoever made the decision to ship the game in this condition, I hope you lost your job.
I am 50 percent don’t with the campaigns already >.<

Its 2017 and i still cant play campaign (online) or multiplayer.
It won’t let me play multiplayer. Keeps saying search for players, found players, searching for players, found players, etc etc. And that’s only if I can even get that far with getting the “multiplayer data uploading” pop up that just freezes. Has anybody found a solution for that or is this game just pure crap? Really upset because I just retuned halo 5 to get this because I didn’t know halo 5 didn’t have split screen. That was my bad. BUT MCC obviously isn’t worth a damn either. Any suggestions besides uninstalling and reinstalling? And of course basic turn off, turn on, etc.
