The Wonderful Toys commendation says you need to “Pick up 3 or more weapons or powers during a single match in any Slayer gametype in matchmaking”, however, I rarely ever get this when I even pick up every weapon on the map. It’s the only slayer commendation I need for slayer mastery but I can’t get it. Please let me know if I’m missing something.
I think it says you need to use them so get a kill with each one and see how that goes.
Just played ffa and got kills with the ar, pistol, plasma cutter, storm rifle, smg, and shotgun. No commendation. The game before I got kills with the ar, pistol, needler, boltshot, fuel rod, and overshield. No commendation for that either. I have gotten it in ffa before so thats not the issue.
I think I figured it out but I am not 100% sure. I just got progress earlier and I think it needs to be a weapon from a weapon pad (power weapon) and/or invis/overshield.

I believe this is tied to the Big Gun Runner medal, so if you get that you should be progressing it.

kinda easy, just grab it, no need to do it in only one life
I’ve gotten them on the map with the shottie and rocket launcher, and getting kills with each. The one that looks like a concrete building with the little grassy area.
The biggest one so far is to make sure you get big gun runner, i have gotten oversheild or invisibility over and over but no that doesnt work for me
I can confirm that you have to get the Big Gun Runner medal to advance this Commendation. So I am not sure why it talks about picking up powers (like camo/overshield).
You have to pick up power weapons from the spawn pad 3 times in one game. That’s all.
Took me a long time figure out as well. But if you have a power weapon from a pad and pick up an is or cameo it counts as well
Does it have to be directly from the weapon pad? Or can it be like off the ground? Like if my teammate gets it but dies and i grab it

You have to pick it up from the weapon pad to count towards the commendation. Also, this thread is very outdated; please check the last posting date before you comment.
